I have been very strict with my routine for about 2 months. I havnt weighed myself at all until today and I have gained 2 pounds. This always happens to me. I havn lost weight in years and I've been trying constantly. I've been on every diet in the book and nothing works.

It provides the energy to sustain yourself without a crash. There is not enough fat to take with your meds but there is some fat in the bar (more than I would ever eat now that I am not on Incivek). I kind of liked the texture of the bar but would have eaten it just to get eating out of the way.
Avatar m tn I think I have tried every diet imaginable and always failed and gained back the weight, the only way to really loose weight and keep it off is a life style change and moderation, this does not happen over night and I have now lost 22 kilos (I beleive that is close to 50 pounds I think there is 2.5 pounds to a kilo) by changing my lifestyle, eating healty and in moderation (portion size), I also started lots of walking.

What does anybody think of trying this diet. I can't lose a lb by what I'm doing now. I eat no starch. Just veggies, fruit and lean chicken, meat and fish. Sometimes I cheat and eat starchy crackers and a little pasta. I don't exercise because my legs are weak with arthritis in my knees.

Any meal replacement diet is never going to give you all the nutrients your body needs (despite how much and many nutrients the shake might be 'fortified' with). Although you've probably heard it a million times before, there is no quick miracle fix, you've got to eat less, eat healthier and exercise more.
