Avatar f tn Please help ... Eye lid is driving me crazy!!!! Itchy, swollen, red eye lid comes goes away and comes back. I went to the opthamologist and he prescribed me drops and told me it was an eye allergy. At first my upper right eye lid was very dry and flaky with no itching. Then it gradually started to swell up, turn red, dry up and itch like crazy. I've never had this issue and its lasted a month already! I am not allergic to anything and have been using the same make up as I always have.
Avatar m tn Also, not using a makeup remover and only water may help too ... if your eye makeup contains an allergin, it could be causing this reaction if you use makeup. Just a thought. Nothing worse than itchy, flaking eyes .. very painful and annoying I bet.
Avatar n tn OK, help. I'm 45, doc verified post-menopausal (yes, very very early) and the last couple of years I have significant darkening of my sclera (whites of my eyes). I have had hypothyroidism since I was about 20 and I take levothyroxine. I had my doc run a full blood / urine panel to ensure it wasn't thyroid/kidney/liver related (nope). I went to my Opthomologist and he said he agreed they were dark but could see nothing medically wrong with my eyes.
Avatar f tn It started the day after I wiped on accident with a makeup remover cloth, my vag burned and itched like crazy so I tried monistat and it worked a little but when I pee I notice every time I wipe I see like 2 or 3 tiny specks of blood? I'm 21, sexually active with 1 partner for 3 years, been checked for STD's in the past and have never had anything?
Avatar f tn Also avoid applying any eye makeup till the symptoms get resolved. Check the date of the eye makeup and if they are too old, then replace it with new one. If there is no visible improvement, antibiotic ointments may need to be prescribed. I suggest you to discuss this option with your ophthalmologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Avatar n tn Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.
Avatar f tn I'm sorry but you're dealing with a purely cosmetic issue and my best advise is to find a very good cosmetician to help you to choose the best makeup to help with your situation. From a medical perspective, I just don't have any helpful advise for your dark circles.
Avatar f tn I studied skin care and my recommendation is to use all oil free products from face wash, to body soap, to makeup.
Avatar f tn Hello, I am 28 years old and recently I started developing wrinkles everywhere on my face (forehead, under eye, between eyebrows, nasolabial lines and more). Some days when I look at my face in the mirror I feel like a 50 year old. The texture of my facial skin looks horrible, my skin is very dry and my facial pores are pretty big. I also have puffiness and black circles under my eyes. My weight is normal, I eat healthy, exercise a lot and take a multivitamin and Complex B.
1415174 tn?1453243103 I have to get tested to be sure. I use Finacea topical for it. But I was using Neutrogena oil free makeup remover and a cotton square to rub off my eyeliner before this all happened and scrubbed more vigorously than usual to get it off (with the eye closed). I saw the corneal ulcer later that day. So I don't know which caused it.
770551 tn?1305578901 I have used the olive oil on my hair when I was younger. My hair is so thick, it took several washes to get it out. Then I would damage my hair again with the iron (the one you use for your clothes).LOL That was the thing in the 70's long straight hair. Mine was wavy. It was long and LOLOLOL.....you will roll on the floor when I tell you this. I would use at least 2 nibblets corn cans for the top of my hair and just wrap the rest around my head with the long bobby pins.
225237 tn?1333138999 fatigue, allergies, thinning of skin through loss of fat and collagen which is usually due to aging, smoking or chronic alcohol use, physical and emotional stress, etc. (just to name a few lol). Cold compresses or used tea bags can help, extra sleep, concealer and make-ups, rinsing your sinuses, or the dermatologist can prescribe something if it is real bad and just keeps getting worse. Dark circles are also hereditary. I also have them and some days they are much worse than others.
Avatar n tn I have been seeing my eye Dr. for treatment of RCE following an injury that happened no more than 2 months ago. I didn't realize it was RCE for weeks (thought maybe just dry eye aggitated where I was healing...) until getting online, and made an appointment with my eye dr. She did a 'scraping' as there was a buildup of cells and apparently debris that was healing over on my eye.

Avatar m tn I am in desperate need of help. For the past month or so I have been dealing with a terribly annoying and irritating eyelid rash. I have been to 2 doctors, been diagnosed with a few different things and paid a ton of money on prescription medication. No one really seems to know what is going on or how to treat it. About 4 weeks ago, I had a terribly itchy eye. I didnt think much about it and just started to rub it to get relief. By the next mornign, my eyelid was swollen, red and itchy.
8628831 tn?1407267564 I had awful acne before I got pregnant - it had only just started to clear up before I got pregnant :-( After we conceived, I broke worse than ever before. I started using Mary Kay products: face wash, moisturizer, day/night serums, even my makeup remover (I don't wear makeup very often, though). My face has completely cleared up!! I'm 39+2 and have been acne free since my fifth month or so (when I started with their products).
