I dont do short cut way to loose weight. I do exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week I do home exercise I download hip hop abs video its help me alot. my diet so strict no meat at all I eat more open fish vegetables fruits and chicken. I take vitamin as well. I loose 30 pounds from 155 to 125.

395769 tn?1318449682 I know nothing about being high risk or having a blighted ovum..sorry. I only know what my dr. told me & this is my first pregnancy and im not high risk. I did a lot of ab exercise pre-pregancy but once I found out I stopped just bc it feel too weird for me. Like I was crushing the baby. But if you know its safe I'd say go for it. Im too far past that pt now. I usually just swim for 45 mins a couple times a week & take a pilates class.

I have eliminated any kinds of ab workouts, I do a quick simple arm and leg routine and then do 2o min on my elliptical. Some days I am all full of energy and have to remind myself that I set a time limit for a reason. Other days, I don't feel like doing anything! My lil workout is how I end the day. The kids are in bed, so is my so. I clean then I take my workout as some me time. Then shower and bed.

Is anyone doing pregnancy exercises like special Yoga, Pilates, or just taking walks? I'm not trying to break a heavy sweat,just trying to keep good blood flow to help with muscle cramps. I have a video of 15 minute aerobics workouts (abs, ***, thighs, and arms). Would it be ok to choose one of these at a time to do few times a week?

Also for some people every other day of working out shows better results. That's up to you! For a diet there are certain foods like pine apple that supposedly take away blotting in the stomach. Avatar f tn I usually stop situps and hard ab workouts at the 2nd semester. You want those muscles strong, but not inflamed. Light plank holds and exercise ball workouts are good. Plus I find its really easy to oull an ab with all the relaxin and round ligament pain. Let you abs relax drink something with some sugar and see if he gets moving around again.

362249 tn?1441315018 I have the entire AB Bootcamp video and it's 35 minutes of INTENSITY! AHhhhhhh! Okay so I did most of it yesterday. There were a few I couldn't do because I have hardwood floors and I don't want to hurt myself. I actually don't feel it in my abs (my abs are pretty strong but the skin is the problematic part because of having babies). But I feel it in my back muscles! Which is amazing because it's hard to get a good workout for your back.

Avatar f tn It's not so much that situps and crunches don't work at all, but the thing is if you have a layer of fat covering your abs (b/c everyone, even those who are upwards of 300 or 400 lbs have 6 packs underneath the fat) you won't be able to see any definition. In order to tone your stomach so you can see some kind of definition or shrink your waistline somewhat, you really have to focus on cardio which burns more calories, which burns fat.

I exercise all day everyday by running, walking, ab workouts, cardio, aerobics and dance. However every time I lose a lot of weight, I gain it back on through eating carbs and calories. So, I decided to work off more calories than I actually eat. However, this makes me weaker so I need some alternatives that have basically no calories but are still substantial.

Avatar f tn As the time is the constraint for you and you are very busy in your work the best exercise is skipping for 20 minutes everyday in the morning and jogging, running or swimming for an hour on weekends. Select an exercise for 20 minutes on workdays before you shower which will sweat you out and you will be able to lose some 200-300 calories, start it slowly and with increasing stamina and endurance you will be fine.
571042 tn?1271447141 hahahah exercise .. the only exercise i do is run around after my kids.. littest one being just about 10 months.. thats all i get .heehee and thats enough. im not a fan of it.. and i have only gained 2 lbs so far and im 21 weeks and 2 days..... so just relax and do wht you want for ur pregnancy.. either way its labor wheither it be a hard one or a easy one you still get the same result in the end ...
Avatar n tn The best I can describe doing an ab workout is to pretend there is an apple under your chin and keep your eyes on the ceiling. Never push your chin into your chest- that is one way to strain your neck. Otherwise, if you're doing it correctly, it's probably just that your neck needs to get used to having to hold up your head while you do the ab routine.

I think with the arm toning exercise I wud say you experiment with the reps...You can start from 5 and increase the intensity level to 10 gradually..I am also glad you are getting your wiifit workout done and that really see you losing weight in the future! So you are on the right track..Keep going!
