There were a few I couldn't do because I have hardwood floors and I don't want to hurt myself. I actually don't feel it in my abs (my abs are pretty strong but the skin is the problematic part because of having babies). But I feel it in my back muscles! Which is amazing because it's hard to get a good workout for your back.

I dont do short cut way to loose weight. I do exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week I do home exercise I download hip hop abs video its help me alot. my diet so strict no meat at all I eat more open fish vegetables fruits and chicken. I take vitamin as well. I loose 30 pounds from 155 to 125.
Avatar n tn I have tried both, and liked neither. The ab roller was uncomfortable on my back, and I didn't see any results at all. I used their video daily for about a month. The Gazelle was hard on my knees. The running motion while keeping your legs in the same position would really hurt in the back of my knees after about 20 minutes. I now have a treadmill and elliptical, and I like both.
Avatar f tn Women don't tend to enjoy pushups, but the kind that are modified for women are a great exercise. Old-fashioned situps are not the best ab exercise. Pilates type exercises are very good. I believe the Insanity videos use a lot of those moves. But you can find videos on line with Pilates type exercises. A mat and one of those Pilates balls is about all you need. Maybe some bands or light weights. But there are tons of videos to find a trainer and exercises you like.
Avatar f tn Anyway, I started pretty simply in terms of exercise. Five days a week I spend 30 to 90 minutes exercising. I do best with exercise classes at a gym. I belong to a simple (and very unglamorous YMCA) gym. I have found that I like boot camp because it mixes cardio and strength. I also do a step class that is more like an interval class with weights. And I do a kick boxing class that alternates between cardio and weights.
Avatar f tn But like gokuangel said, it's best to do a variety of ab exercises to have the best results, and make sure you're practicing correct form because you can essentially do 100 situps in a row but won't see any type of changes if you arent doing it properly.
559862 tn?1311520237 I do Denise Austin's pregnancy exercise dvd and it has aerobics and stregth training for each trimester...I'm not sure of the specific regulations BUT in the third trimester video she says to switch to like 2lb weights...I've been using 5lb weights and feel fine/haven't had any complications.
1936411 tn?1333835449 There are a number of free videos available through the pharmas for exercise. Two of the best come from the ActiveMS website, and are a general exercise and a yoga for MS. Send away for both of those and see what you think. For me, I do two wellness classes through work. "body sculpting" uses light weights, lots of squats, ab work, and working on arm and leg strength. I adapt the degree of difficulty for me, hang out in the back of the room and enjoy every minute.

Increased hair fall, sore red scalp. Tiredness. Struggling to loose weight. While you can't get out to a gym with 3 boys, you can get them interested in a movie, and slip away to exercise for 20 minutes. Or have hubby give them a bath, and do it then. With heel spurs, I would reccommend an elliptical or a recumbent bike. Justify it to yourself this way - It is about the same $ as a membership fee and 6 months of dues, and you own it.

Okay some of the music is suspect lol. I guess what i should of said is the two primary causes of heart disease is inflammation and oxidative stress. Avatar n tn I would also like to say that most of the people dismissing colon cleansing have never tried it. So maybe best to try one and then judge for yourself. It doesn't cost too much, can get one for pretty cheap even for a good one. And colon cleansing is not something new, people have been doing it for centuries. Read book 1 of the Essenes Gospel of Peace. Jesus makes his disciples do it!
Avatar f tn Btw, if you really, really want to exercise (who doesn't?) then maybe 10-12 hours sleep per night might enable that somewhat. Maybe HIT rather that LISS, for better recovery. But of course expect SOB from the anemia. What med for anemia did the doc prescribe? Not EPO?
Avatar n tn Folding clothes, extending my arm out for 20-30 seconds, holding my neck as I bend over to empty the dishwasher, tie my daughter’s shoes, dress her, etc. The muscle spasms have got the best of me these past 3 months. (Usually, I can work through them in 2 weeks.) The past few weeks I’ve taken enough medicine to kill a small horse. I’ve been taking skelaxin, naproxen, hydrocodone, and had several rounds of steroids to no avail.

I was very concerned about weight gain and my doctor told me Lexapro was "weight neutral". I initially lost a few pounds and then a slow but steady climb. Avatar n tn Cynocobalamin is the medical term - These injections have been livesavers for those suffering from Pernicious Anemia - and a boost of energy to those willing to use them, but they don't keep weight off not to a degree worth noticing and certainly not for the long term - its a bit like the cabbage soup diet, interesting, a fad, but not a longterm solution. Avatar f tn I decided to set up my own protocol and I dropped the pharmaceutical supplements (no supplement never solved my problem, no probiotics had effects, I just threw money away on expensive products) I started to have time to eat, wake up, sleep and exercise, body needs discipline, exercise daily and drink plenty of fluids is very important. My menu currently has fish almost every day, eggs daily, chicken, lots of beans, peas, tapioca and all the vegetables and fruits).
