There are a ton of studies showing the huge benefits to both mom and baby from exercise in pregnancy. Of course you can't exercise exactly the same way you did pre-pregnancy but by not exercising at all you are setting both you and baby up for a very difficult pregnancy and recovery!

This camp claims that when they eat prior to exercise, they get stomach cramps or feel sluggish. The other school of thought (which I agree with) suggests that you have a light meal or snack prior to a work out, and a small snack afterwards.

Less intake means less eating (especially carbs, empty calories, sweets, and excess food), and "use up" means activity and/or overt exercising. And there I think is little evidence of the significance or impact that those veggies really have on the thyroid level. It may be that they do in fact have an effect, but it is so small that it is of no consequence. I think lifestyle in the form of stress and general overal health has more of a combined effect on thyroid.

Avatar f tn Eating healthy and exercising at your own pace should keep you still loosing weight since your already overweight, just continue to do whatever you were doing but make sure not to over do it as you are pregnant but no harm at all in staying healthy and loosing a few kilo/pounds as long as your eating well and not missing meals you should be all good.

You are eating all the right foods and you exercise quite often make sure you have your rest days to allow your body to recuperate. Don't obsess over what body fat perecent is right for you. As long as you eat well and workout you shouldn't worry about your weight. Remember that muscle weight more than fat so I wouldn't obsess with what the scale says.
7928796 tn?1396351929 I didn't take very good care of myself my first pregnancy and gained 60+. I plan on working out and watching what I'm eating this time around. Not giving into my tendency to stress eat or every little craving will be hard though, so will the fatigue.
