This morning I go up and again there was the discharge and very very painful, not just in belly button but my stomach area all around belly button and inside as well. I feel nauseous at times and it hurts bad.

A couple months back (not sure how many) I started having problems with my belly button. The problem then was it was very red and irritated it and a smelly brownish i'll say discharge and it was itchy. I was going to see a doctor but i was told it was a yeast infection. I cleaned it out everyday with antibacterial soap, it then went away. So now a few months later its back but this time there is no discharge its not red or itchy and does not smell.

sometimes sour odor from my belly button/navel. If I use newsprint or sometimes tea tree oil it helps, but even when I try really hard to dry my inner navel the irritation & sourness returns. I read that diabetics have issues with infections. There is occasional (slight) blood if I dig in deep, with a q-tip. Any insights on this?

hi, im 13 and my belly button has really been bothering me. at first, it would just be wet inside (i have an innie) and it would smell a little. but now, it is itchy, a blackish-brown color, smells bad and produces a discharge that dries up and leaves a crust and has small bumps around it. can you please help me with this?

For the last several years (I have no idea when this started, I just began noticing it), I have had yellow, crusty discharge coming from my belly button. It is not continuous, but rather comes and goes every week or so. The other day i was just sitting down messing around on my computer and i felt this pop in my belly button accompanied by a terrible smell and pinkinsh red discharge, but when i tried to see what it was i couldnt see anything but fluid. I noticed a bright red ring inside of my belly button this morning. There is no pain, itching, or discharge, just a red ring. I remember seeing my dad in the hospital and the doctor showed me his belly button was an outie, but my dad said he was never an outie. The doctor pushed it back in and it went back to being in innie belly button. It can be fixed surgically. You might want to get that checked before it tears open more and your belly button becomes an outie.

Sorry to say your navel don't have nothing to do with the baby. The baby is in the sake and can be kicking your navel. But if the baby tug at its cord Idk if you will feel that.

I shower everyday, I wash properly, I dry properly, hygiene is so important to me. However, my belly button is extremely deep, i cannot touch the end of it as it is that deep whereas my boyfriends end of bellybutton is totally visible!! Almost a year and a half ago, I noticed an odd smell would appear inside my belly button. It occured at random, and happened along with a small amount of discharge. I would q-tips, cotton balls, or toilet paper to try to clear it out, but it didn't seem to help. I was always very clean in regards to washing it while I showered. Eventually, whatever I used to wipe it started coming away with a small amount of blood.

Not everyone's belly button pops out. It could just be from stretching, or you could have a herniated navel. Talk to your doctor about it.

I'm not in terrible shape, but I do have a semi thick, and somewhat flabby abdomen that slightly hangs a bit. Being in the medical field myself, I feel rather ignorant not knowing how to take care of or what might be the stem or cause of my particular problem. I've always had this oddly deep and wide Belly Button. I measured it finding it to be 3.2 inches in depth.

Mine hasn't popped yet, but it's stretched so much. The skin is so soft too.

I am a 40 yr old woman who has noticed a horrible odor and discharge coming from my belly button. there is also well defined redness in the naval itself where the discharge is coming from. The discharge itself is milky and clear but the odor is breathtaking. I also seem to have a large rash with odor in the fold of my stomach at the pubic level (My belly hangs over from previous surgeries and twin pregnancy.) My urine is also cloudy and smelly. Yup. I'm glad mine doesn't stick out. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and my belly button looks so small but at the same time it looks like my belly wants to stretch it. It looks weird haha.
