Hi there. I am hoping someone can help me. My boyfriend is a type 2 diabetic. He suffers from very high sugar. However, when his sugar drops to low he has seizures. Now is the seizures due to low sugar or high sugar. Test showed high sugar. Can a high sugar also cause seizures. I don't want to treat him with the wrong treatment ie glucose if it is actually a high sugar seizure and not low like we think it is? Very confused as the treatment for high and low is so different?
My 19 year old son was recently on a training mission for the national guard at camp ripley minnesota. For the past few weeks I have been jittery,explosive temper,lightheaded, very foggy and started having horrible palpitations and breathlessness..I am really scared at this point and can't seem to get any answers..I am going to schedule an appointment with a endo.
They began 3 yrs ago, when she had a seizure as she was finishing her shower. The ER Dr. called it syncope, so our insurance wouldn't cover an MRI. We saw an NL, but it was about a month after the seizure. She had no further symptoms so he ordered an EEG (which showed nothing) and sent us on our way.
Fast forward to last Tuesday and she had another seizure, also getting out of the shower. This time I took her to our PC Dr. He ordered the MRI and an MRA because she is orthostatic.
Is there any research showing a loss of libido for men taking anti-seizure meds for epilepsy? Specifically neurontin or dilantan. If so, are there any treatments or suggested alternatives?

Well I still am battling anxiety. Want to move and scream. My family does not know that I had a problem or that I am withdrawling. I am too embarased. If they only knew that I stole Iv drugs for my own use they would leave me. I just want to be normal again and not crave the drug.
m on Day 12 and last two days upped from 5mg to 10mg, and am still having severe anxiety, of course, I am battling lots of health issues too. I'm just wondering if I should be feeling some relief by now?

Drink some caffeine free tea, use a humidifire, tykenol, they say that regular robots sin is fine for a caugh. Caugh drops are also ok. I used a Vix nasal in halal and saline. At least all according to my midwife. Even though there's a new study that clamps tylenol is linked to adhd. I took it when I had a fever.

She was diagnosed at 3 with complex partial seizure disorder, and started on tripletal. She is still battling this, somedays the medicine helps. but other days she has anywhere from 10-25 seizure where her eye flickers, body stiffens and she is unresponsive for anywhere from 45 seconds to 2 minutes. She had a chorid plexus cyst on her neck when I was 20 weeks pregnant with her. At 30 weeks 3d ultrasound the dr. could not find the cyst, assuming it was gone!?!
I said no what I am saying is when you were the happiest was when you were sober, and working for God. My husband is a Godly man that is battling himself, and God. The seizure I trust was just God trying to wake him up.
I also believe he may have had two in the past 9 yrs but they were minor ones. He had a black out spell when he was driving at this job the first time. He only blacked out for a moment but doctors said that could be a seizure.
