Avatar m tn On my treadmill exercise tolerance test results (nuclear stress test), my cardiologist wrote in the "Interpretation" section: Summary: HR Response to Exercise: Appropriate. Chest Pain: None. Arrhythmias: atrial premature beats. ST Changes: 1mm Depression horizontal. Overall Impression: borderline Positive stress test suggestive of ischemia. My doctor told me verbally that my results were fine..
Avatar f tn My stress test was positive and t wave was inverted. Doc said nothing much to worry, sometimes it is false positive. And asked to get a sonography done anytime later nothing urgent.. Sonography overall summary was fine but in valve wise report, in one it said no significant regurgitation, in second, very low regurgitation and in the last one low regurgitation. I did not go too doc to show the report as it looked ok to me. Cholestrol is not in order. Should I worry about heart disease?
Avatar m tn I can't say if the doctor missed anything or not but the main thing to know is that in a otherwise healthy heart VT is really not a danger. So if your heart is healthy otherwise and you do not have troubling symptoms with your pvcs like severe chest pain or passing out it is very likely the ectopic beats you feel are not a danger to you.
Avatar f tn I recently had a cardiopulmonary stress test done, and I'm having a hard time interpreting the chart/summary. Is it ever okay to have a drop in blood pressure with an increase in speed/grade?
Avatar m tn The HerpeSelect test on the other hand, while not perfect is a very good test when used in context. You are also correct that the test results that you have are absolutely negative. Let's now add some interpretation. You exposure was relatively low risk. Unless your partner had lesions, the chances that you got herpes are very low. Why? Because you do not know whether she had herpes or not and if she did, most exposures do not lead to transmission.

Avatar f tn test with myocardial perfusion imaging revealed mild to moderate ischemia involving the basal anterior septum and mid anterior septal walls. He is status post recent (4/7/08) four-vessel bypass graft with a LIMA to the LAD. My husband has been labeled a walking piece of plaque by his cardiologist. With his open-heart surgery being so recent, with him being diabetic, and he has never had any symptoms of his illness - should this recent test be looked into further by your opinion?
