ENT said I had some colonies in nose soUsed Bacrtoban for 3 days and slight pain in my nose went away per ENT. I stopped the bactroban after 3 days because I was not sleeping but I was also using Nasocort and maybe that was the culprit.
Cold gone sinus not infected but having some pain that feels like a tooth ache and slight tickle or sting in nostrils when breathing. Left septum is a little enlarged.
Being that I have been to dermatologists many times in the past and the latest episode did not respond to their suggestions/medicines, I ruled out eczema, this time. I had also seen them for itching on my arms, which are now scars. I saw them twice for that condition, and was prescribed the same treatment twice, which never worked so excuse me, if I lost faith in what seems to be imcompetent dermatology services, in my area.
9/8/2009 - Mosquito bite worse, started developing spots on hands/feet/chest/back, pediatrician diagnosed as hand/foot/mouth and not related to mosquito bite, prescribed bactroban for mosquito bite.
9/10/2009 - Heat spots leaking again, even more head spots, also more spots all over body, large blisters on feet, pediatrician recommend visit to dermatologist.
9/10/2009 - Dermatologist diagnosed as some virus in the same family as hand/foot/mouth. No testing was done, they are just guessing.
Ive had a red postule that is maybe half a centimeter in diameter for three months now in my pubic area. I originally thought that it was just an ingrown hair but i could never fish out any hair, ive tried to find any hair and there is nothing there. Also, it fills up with pus. I saw another doctor, who said I had folliculitis, and he prescribe Bactroban(Mupirocin) for me. He also hints me the folliculitis cannot be cured completely. I have to put Bactroban on the infected part to relieve the symptom, when I found acnes symptom become more severe. Then, I put Bactroban on my face. At the first 2 days, nothing happen. I therefore put more Bactroban on.

In most cases I would recommend Soriatane at 25mg a day to start and if you see no improvement than 50mg might help. It is however very expensive at nearly 1,700 to 2,000 a month so it's best to have really good insurance.
There are red spots all where he shaved and they are still here. They dont hurt him and dont normally itch. I dont know what it is. I have been checked for STD's and previous to this so did he. it couldnt be an STD. could you help me.
I presented with only one sore at my cheekbone and was given clindamycin orally for 14 days and Bactroban ointment for topical use. The sore was believed to be an early indication of MRSA. I quickly developed cellulitis and swelling near, but not touching, the apparent abscess, as well as blisters in my nose. I used the mupiricin.(Bactroban) to keep the nasal blisters moist. Now diagnosed with post-herpetic neuralgia, but I still have blisters in my nose treating with Bactroban.
You shouldn't be shy about having a doctor look at anything. These are common area's for eczema. But fungal infections also affect the same area's. Do the area's get dry and flaky or just red. If they itch without a rash. Then you might want to change all the products that you use to wash clothes and yourself. Dryer pads and laundry detergents cause problems. Especially where you sweat.

I got a burn on my left thigh about two weeks ago and was treated for cellulitis with 500mg keflex three times a day. When I only had four pills left, I was coming down with some sort of virus, and found it impossible to stomach the antibiotics, so I stopped taking them. A few days later, I noticed that the skin around the burn was still warm to the touch (not burning hot but definitely warmer than the rest of my skin) and that I still had a low-grade fever (ranging from 99.0-99.9).
I have had this thing on my face for about a year now that comes up in small blisters and then crusts over and peels off. It is located on my cheek and I recently had a test for cold sores and it came back negative, but I put cold sore cream by chemists own (aciclovir 5%) on it and that seems to work. What is it?? I remember placing Bactroban on it which seemed to speed up the healing process, could this cold sore cream help a bacterial infection or could bactroban help a cold sore?
