teeth

Avatar f tn I she still has the rest of her teeth, one extraction should be no big deal. What you need to find out from your vet is HOW the tooth in question got that way, and what her chances are of other teeth doing the same thing.
2020005 tn?1628125976 t impacted and I was able to do it instead of living with the pain. Honestly the pain was way worse than the actual extraction and recovery! It was instant relief so I would go for it! In my opinion the infection is a higher risk.
Avatar n tn It depends on the difficulty of the extraction. With kids teeth, usually its a pretty quick recovery but if its an adult tooth, the healing time may take longer. Assuming its a baby tooth, he should bounce back pretty quickly and shouldn't be a problem on the flight.
Avatar f tn Tooth extraction is the process which is used to remove teeth from its socket in the bone. After tooth extraction, recovery takes a few days but if you are feeling any discomfort, contact your dentist to get confirmation about infection.
Avatar n tn I should also note that it does not hurt to touch unless i press hard but that is like all my wisdom teeth extraction sites.

1313145 tn?1273789472 Hello! A week ago tomorrow I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. Recovery reguarding the extraction sites has been really great and painless, other than swelling. As of a few days ago my bottom front teeth are feeling really "tight," like there is alot of pressure. Has anyone experianced this before? Would getting my wisdom teeth extracted cause my teeth to move closer together? I know that seems crazy, but I am wondering what is wrong!
Avatar f tn Been to the dentist twice in just over two weeks, both unplanned, first visit an extraction after a tooth broke second visit a temporary filling until baby is born then an extraction... Prior to pregnancy id had one filling in my life!
Avatar f tn Hey guys! So probably in about 3 months or so I'm going to be getting my wisdom teeth removed so I can start Invisalign. I'm 17 and my top wisdom teeth have fully grown in. My bottom two haven't and they are partially erupted and my dentist (who will also be doing the procedure and Invisalign) says it's because there isn't enough room for them. I'll have them all taken out. He said that the bottom ones will need stitches because they are only partially erupted.
Avatar f tn They said they need to extract 4 bottom back teeth, 4 top back teeth and also his two front teeth. The dentist said they could put crowns on 3 of the back teeth, or just extract them, but the other 5 back ones are beyond repair. I really dont want him to have these extractions, i dont want my son to have no front teeth, im very worried about the bullying he might get at school.
Avatar f tn Have anyone had their back tooth removed while pregnant. They put me on antibiotics im done with & I go to the dentist tomorrow for extraction. IM BEYOND SCARED! Have anyone else gotten theirs pulled that can ease my mind because im losing it.
Avatar n tn Question: My son is 15 years of age and has not lost all his baby teeth as his four "eye" teeth are still in his mouth and the new adult teeth are right beside them. He is terrified to have them pulled and insists they do not hurt. Can this be detremental to him later on in life? Should I insist he has them pulled to make sure the adult teeth grow in properly. He has had to have other baby teeth extracted and it was not fun. The teeth simply do not fall out! Confused and worried mom.
88793 tn?1290227177 here in the U.S. most simple wisdom teeth removals are done with ga and sometimes a little gas just for relaxation not to knock you out. even more complicated procedures like impacted wisdom teeth rarely require a hospital. being completely sedated is more risky than just being numbed up. i only had two wisdom teeth come in (top only) and yes after they were pulled under ga in the regular office i walked a mile home!
Avatar f tn I've been in braces for 7 years because I had an inherited defect that caused me to be born without my number 7 and 10 teeth. Also, numbers 6 and 11 were located extremely high in my upper jaw and would not erupt. A gold chain was surgically attached to number 11 almost 2 years ago and was 'tugged' on by my braces for several months.
5593804 tn?1372869274 I got teeth filled and pulled while I was pregnant last time..
Avatar n tn i was just wondering if anyone on here has had all their teeth extracted and would like to share their stories with me? i have 28 teeth left 3 are possibly still ok 25 need to go and of those 2 are broken off under the gumline. i'm hoping the doctor will just go ahead and take all 28 out. i was just wondering what to expect in the way of surgery and recovery and if anyone else has been through this if they would like to share their story with me.
Avatar f tn Is going to the the dentist and when they use that stff to numb your mouth, will that harm the baby. Because I've been needing to get some teeth pulled but im worried about the stuff they use to numb your mouth.
Avatar n tn Either there is infection lingering or the dentist hit the Vagus nerve (a branch) during extraction causing a vasovagal attack, or the infection, swelling, and extraction resulted in TMJ. At times a mouth infection can change the pressure of the Eustachian tube that connects ear to the back of the mouth. If it is blocked Eustachian tube, then doing a valsalva maneuver (Done by taking a deep breath and blowing while pinching your nostrils and closing your mouth) will help.
Avatar f tn I am 24 years old and was referred to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth extraction. All four wisdom teeth are impacted, the top two have erupted through the skin, but the bottom two have not come through yet. The oral surgeon informed never once mentioned bone grafting- until I got to the counter and the recptionist was putting together the treatment plan- and then it was mentioned that it was recommended to have bone grafting done after the extraction of the bottom two wisdom teeth.
1809287 tn?1316744936 about a week ago i had a tooth extraction done on my very back molar on my lower right side. the extraction went pretty well, although quite uncomfortable. afterwards, i felt somewhat okay, but about two to three days after i started to feel this uncomfortable pain in my lower jaw bone. the pain is felt in my jaw, my throat, my temple, my neck and my ear. i am having constant headaches.
Avatar f tn A month ago, I had my 5 year old son to a dentist who said that he had 2 cavities (no xray was taken). Saturday, I took him to another dentist closer to my home for a new patient exam. An xray was taken and the new dentist says the decay is close to the nerve, and wants to do a root canal and crown on the tooth. It is closer to the front of his mouth, and I don't see putting him through that (or my wallet through that) for a tooth that will only be around another year or so anyway.
Avatar m tn Can any member tell me about the risk associated before teeth extraction for hypothyorid patient. I am required to go for tooth extraction & am taking levothyroxine from last 6 month @ 100 mcg. I did my last thyroid scan on 2 months before, should i do a fresh thyroid scan before going to doctor.
