Common Questions and Answers about Baby eczema natural treatment

eczema

Avatar n tn Hello, In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. Medical research shows that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid which are available by prescription.
Avatar m tn I have a lot of friends who used Abido on their children also. My baby also has Eczema and I believe that I have found a good natural product range that might help. I especially like them because they are safe and are unlikely to cause a reaction. I share my daughter's journey here:******. What I found that works is to moisturize my baby's skin very frequently! That is why a safe effective all natural moisturizer is better.

Avatar f tn What is the best treatment for vaginal Eczema. I have this for years now, it comes and goes. I use Calendula gel when I have symptoms, it seems to help but not completely. Is there something that I can use that is more effective. It is very uncomfortable. Burning sensation, etc. I had a biopsy done a few years ago and results came back (SPONGIOTIC DERMATITIS) which I been told is like ECZEMA. Can you please help or have any comments regarding this condition.
1227049 tn?1267237385 Hello, Eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. A combination of treatments should be used. Along with topical steroids, you should use good quality moisturizers on the area. Immunomodulators like tacrolimus and Pimecrolimus are not without side effects and should be used after a dermatologist’s prescription.
Avatar f tn Eczema is a skin disease that causes itchy, red, dry flaky skin. There is no cure or reasonable treatment. The treatment is typically steroids but there are side effects. You should cut down on the amount of baths you get. Don't use hot water. Use a oil based soap like oilatum or Dove all natural. Use natural laundry detergents based on enzymes. Don't use bleach or dryer pads. Use a good moisturizer just after shower. You need to moisturize at least twice a day.

Avatar f tn My son had it at well.
Avatar m tn t there be a linear improvement, instead of it going up and down a bit with this cream. The eczema does not itch at all (my baby does not scratch it, is not bothered by it), and I suspect it's seborhoeic eczema (judiging from pictures in a dermatology atlas). thank you for your anwer, with best wishes!
Avatar f tn My son has had warts on his legs since he was 2. He's now 9 years old. One came up on his ankle and it has spread into dozens since then on his legs and feet. We've tried over the counter stuff and that didn't work. We've went to a dermatologist even since everytime we tried something it seemed like more warts came back than he originally had. They definitely were multiplying.
Avatar n tn I know this misery well. Once I went on my first elimination diet for the digestive issues, that's when I discovered the true source of my misery: GLUTEN and DAIRY. The two go hand-in-hand. Look up key words like "eczema diet" "what not to eat with eczema". Conventional doctors usually miss this. I stumbled upon it myself when looking into my other health issues.
Avatar m tn It is often caused by allergies to common natural inhalants and intolerance to some foods. In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. Medical research shows that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups. The treatment prescribed to you is correct. In addition keep your skin well mositurised.
Avatar m tn I kept using the cream just in case it was just a persistent yeast infection and when I came back to get the results (which were negative again) I was told the red cracked and mildly scaly appearance was more than likely eczema. I was told to use a moisturizer until it went away. For the first month after I used 2 different type of moisturizers (one all natural and the other was lubriderm) but it didn't seem to make any difference.
Avatar n tn i am 70 years old igot really bad eczema due to igehigh level can u please help meand prescribe me some medicne i am in pakistan?
Avatar f tn Avoid hot tubs as well, some of the chemicals in hot tubs can be extremely irritating to people with eczema! My mom used baby oil on me as a kid so that may help for youor kids. Avoiding anything with strong scents has decreased my need for medication drastically. The best thing i can say is to visit a dermatoligist. They will be able to give you suggestions as well.

Avatar f tn Does any one know of a natural treatment of endometriois? I have had a hysterectomy but have one ovary left. It's been 2 mths since my surgery and the endo is back. My doc wants me to take the Lupron shot. But I can only have one more. Any help will be appreciated.
458072 tn?1291415186 Hi Peggy! What natural supplements have you been trying? I was on HRT for four months (hot flashes, anxiety) before I quit cold turkey in mid- December because I was having horrible pain in my breasts, hips and knees. Within two weeks the hot flashes were back, and seemed worse than ever. I started looking into natural alternatives, and like you, was turned off at the prospect of having to wait three months, hoping for improvement.
