i took a rocephin shot wednesday morning and then took azithromycin friday night. saturday night i tasted a small shot of alcohol. would that mess up the antibotics?it was over 24 hours after i took the azithromycin and the shot was very small i was doing a test taste.

azithromycin often causes gastrointestinal upset, sometimes with vomiting. The risk might be higher with alcohol. But most likely even this wouldn't be an issue after a few hours.
To address my sinus infection he diagnosed azithromycin with 500 mg the first day then 250 mg the next four days. My questions are this:
1) Without noticeable symptoms to my genitals, the eye and sinus infection do not seem to be indicators of an STD but a garden variety infection. Is that true?
2) Would the azithromycin dosage he prescribed remedy NGU if I did have it?

Hello all. I had an encounter with someone i met online last monday and she performed unprotected oral on me for 30 minutes. I was wondering if i had any risk of sti's. A little more details, she swears that she is sti free and she was just tested. I was in the middle of a 10 day amoxicillin treatment for strep throat, would this nullify any sti?
Logically, I think that the bleeding might have been caused by lack of sleep (i was travelling in a different timezone, as well as stress and excessive use of alcohol) in conjunction with those antibiotics that did cause bad diaharrea.
Regardless..I will follow up with my DR..and if it is anything important i will report back.
