Here is the latest update. I was treated for Chlamydia (1g oral suspension azithromycin) on June 4th. I had some very evident symptoms at that time, which was 15 days after exposure and 1 day after a positive urine test from Labcorp. I took the medicine on Friday June 4th and slowly my symptoms started to dissipate. Dr. Hook told me i could retest at 7-10 days. I did get retested this Monday the 14th which was 10 days after the treatment.

So I had unprotected oral sex 5 days ago, I was very drunk and the oral sex was very vigorous, I did not ejaculate either. current recommendations are you get the shot of ceftriaxone and oral azithromycin at the same time if you test + for gonorrhea. the 2 gm dose of azithromycin alone is only helpful for chlamydia at this point, not gonorrhea. if you were given just oral treatment for gonorrhea, you are supposed to retest any time after 1 week post treatment to see if it was effective or not.

Similarly, there is no risk from condom protected sex. That leaves the oral sex and the azithromycin you took would have covered any STIs you might have acquired from receipt of oral sex.
