zithromax

Avatar n tn Also felt sinus congestion and all around lousy. I have felt this way for over 60hours. Is this a side effect of Azithromycin? Does anyone have any other info for what might cause this?
Avatar f tn You can also try other meds. Even over-the-counter dramamine can be used for dogs. Reglan and phenergan are two other considerations. As with any medication, make sure you check with your vet first. Does your dog actually throw up on car trips? Is there a certain amount of time it takes to get really sick or is it immediate? You're doing a great job taking Rocky on short trips to get him used to car travel.

Avatar f tn My German Shepherd was recently prescribed incurin and it has caused her not to eat and a little bit aggressive and scared... She also was running around with her hackles up and starting fights with my other dogs...She only had 3 or 4 days of it and then I took her off of it this last Sunday was her last dose...She still is not wanting to eat and not 100% back to herself? How long do the side effects last...It was taking me an hour and a half to get her to eat 2 cups of food...

Avatar f tn I do not know that this surgery is available yet for dogs, or whether or not there are any canine neurosurgeons who would perform it, but if it does exist, my guess is that it would still be cost-prohibitive for anyone but the wealthiest pet owners or people who have pet health insurance. A change in appetite is a common side effect of phenobarbital. Some dogs eat less and have to be cajoled into eating, others become voracious and can't seem to eat enough.
Avatar n tn Some of the side effects reported vary due to different breeds & several other factors. We have 1 Rottweiler mix male & 2 rescued dogs (German Rottweiler female & American Rottweiler female). German Rotty was approx 2 y/o when rescued. She had her first seizure approx 2 months ago. Scared me to death. A month later she had another so I knew some of the signs before hand. My mixed male & American Rotty female were going crazy when the seizures occurred.
Avatar n tn i recently got put on antibiotics (azithromycin) for a throat infection, but these pains are not a side effect. i have experienced the side effects of my antibiotics; i had diarrhea and slight stomach pains, but that was it. i'm 16; female. i know i'm very young but i'm still scared if this is something serious. thanks so much!!!!!!!!
Avatar n tn If this is a small dog and 3ml is a human dose, then yes, it could be harmful.....A large dog would be less likely to suffer as serious side effects....... The same overdose symptoms can happen to a dog as with a human.......You need to look at your package warning label and read them or google side effects of this medication...... If you see anything unusual with your dog's behaviour, you need to seek medical attention ASAP.....Let us know how he/she is doing.....
Avatar f tn Hi there, I looked on the side effects of Depakote and I didn't find anything to do with this. I've never been an angry person, nor have I really ever have I ever blasted people or my dogs. I yell at my dogs, have no patience, basically more irritability that I'm not able to control .I'm Bipolar, with mixed states, rapid cycling and have been in the last couple of months, hypomanic.
Avatar m tn But then I felt a pain in my knee and read up on the side effects. I quit right away. I still have a bit knees pain. So i switched to Doxy, for 2 weeks 100mg a day the 1 week and twice a day the 2. I felt better some days but I'm still felling the sensation. It comes and goes now. Some parts of the day I don't feel, some I do. It's different than when It started, It's a bit more strong. It's not a pain, It's like a slight burning now.
Avatar n tn Calcitriol is a natural form of Vitamin D that was formerly used for human dialysis patients to restore kidney function. Calcitriol is currently available for dogs and cats in kidney failure and veterinarians order it through various compounding pharmacies. Calcitriol is compounded specifically for each pet according to their body weight and BUN-Creatinine levels. It is given to pets as a capsule by mouth once a day.

1623704 tn?1300452745 I just started Lyrica yesterday. I was so scared to start because of all the side effects. Well, was wondering, if anyone else is taking it, and if so, do the side effect go away after awhile? I felt REALLY drunk all day. Glad I didn't have to do much! Should I take at bed time instead of morning?
Avatar n tn ve stayed with it the longest. My question is regarding the side effects. Occasionally I will notice an internal restless feeling -- usually lasts a few days. It's almost like I feel kind of antsy. My sleep is not disturbed -- I sleep normal as usual. I've also noticed, and have in the past, that I have some twitches. Various muscles in my body will twitch from time to time.
Avatar m tn Hey everyone, I've had chest and nose congestion for sometime now. I went to the doctor about a week ago when my symptoms were at its worse, intense wheezing, especially at night, runny nose, cough, and sneezing, that what was pretty much all I had but the wheezing was the worst part (I could hear myself breathing). My first doc prescribe me albuterol, prednisone and a z pack, I took eveything and started feeling better.
Avatar f tn org/posts/STDs---STIs/Are-these-Azithromycin-and-Ciprofloxacin-side-effects/show/2996010# gardnerella also factor into the white tongue/lump in throat etc. (in addition to the antibiotics)? I cannot find a whole lot of information about gardnerella in men. On a side note, I am assuming the gardnerella was the cause of inflammation since I had tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Avatar f tn okay went back and did some hunting. this is a quote: "there are many side effects with using pain meds for cats however based on all avail info at this time the ones with the fewest side effects and safest for cats are the following..... Avatar m tn That is when I stopped using Bactrim. All other side effects are gone except for the closing of my throat that comes on and off, especially when I'm done eating. It's been going on for 2 weeks (since my last bactrim dose). It doesn't make my breathing or eating any difficult but is just very annoying. It stopped for 2 days and happened one late night, 2-3 hours after drinking alcohol.
Avatar m tn asked doctor today, he said could be the azithromycin, give it a couple of days.... however that is not on the side effects list of the azithromycin..... is this related to my ulcer... and what the hell is the cause of my ulcer if it is not syphilis and hsv... and so far azithromycin has not had the healing effect the doc said?
