The treatment for coinfection with both gononrrhoeae and Chlamydia is Azithromycin. It should work for both. Did you have an injection? However, some GC strains are very resistant. It would be good to get retested in about 6 weeks to make sure you are clear from both.
Ureaplasma isn't an std, and if you haven't responded to the azithromycin and roxy, you need to follow up with your doctor.

I was tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea after experiencing symptoms of a greenish discharge from my penis and tingle at the end of my penis. I was immediately treated on Sept 5 with 400g Cefixime and 1g Azithromycin (Zithromax) pending results.
My wife (who I had sex with a day or two after my indiscretion) was also given both sets of treatment.
Test results received two weeks later (Sept 19) I was negative for Gon but positive for Chlamydia.

0 gram dose of azithromycin will cure nearly all chlamydial infections and is the recommended therapy for NGU. For gonorrhea the 2.0 gram dose is recommended. The 2.0 gram dose is also the dose shown to be effective for syphilis.
You describe taking 1500 mg (1.5 grams) over about 3 days. This dose would probably cure most chlamydial infection and NGU and some gonorrhea or syphilis but not all. Beyond that, there really no way to answer your question with complete confidence.

Two repair attempts failed and she has had ongoing infections in that foot for the last 9 months. She is generally very fit and healthy and was a keen athlete. The only childhood illness that she's had is Chickenpox. To date blood tests have not identified any underlaying causes of the infection. This may not be enough information, but I wondered whether anyone has come across anything like this before? Could she have an immune system deficiency and if so what ?If so please contact me.

I would like to know why laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is not a good option for my daughter to undertake while receiving dental care as she needs to be sedated. I am told that she needs to be adminstered the normal anesthesia as if she were receiving a surgery in a hospital. I understand that a cardiologist as well as the anesthesiologist should be present during the care (dental), but why specifically is laughing gas more hard on her system?
Hey jude! Wish I could tell you what they are, but I can't. If they are throbbing and painful, I wouldn't waste any time getting to the dentist. Oral/dental infections can be quite dangerous if let go too long.

I have not been soaking them like i should have over the past 10 years and I have also been sleeping with them overnight for the past 10 years. I went to the dental clinic 2 years ago and the resident noticed lesions at the roof of my mouth when the dentures were removed. She said they were red and inflamed. She told me to rinse with salt water and keep them out overnight. I did this for approximately 2 weeks and begin to follow my poor routine again of not removing them at night.

I took 500 mg of it every day for three days. I believed Azithromycin was recomended for Chalmydia treatment not for Gonorrhea or, better, wasn't first choice for gonoccoccical infections.
Would it really have cured gonorrhea if I had in my throat?
