Last week I got a phone call from a girl that I spent a week with and yes we had sex a lot. She called me to tell me that she had what she thought was a rash and got it tested and it turned out to be Chlamydia. Clearly I felt horrible and now I'm trying to figure this out.
A week and a half before I had sex with another girl and the next day I got what I thought was chaffing in my pelvic area but I'm realizing now that it wasn't. Other then that I did not have any other symptoms.
In the beginning they started as three or four pimples and the nurse said it was just a rash.. Though, upon further examination with two nurses, they think its possibly a bacterial infection? I am yet to get results back on the swabs they took.
After taking the medication I asked the woman about alcohol and caffiene and she said within "moderation". I've been drinking coffee but have not touched a drop of alcohol in a couple of weeks.
The quick test they do come back that I tested positive for a NSU and the doctors gave me some Azithromycin. I have now come out in a rash on my hands and over my body which looks like little white flat blisters under my skill. I have been googling and under the Seroconversion illness I have found exactly what the rash looks like! I am now so scared after taking some comfort that I had passed the original 2-4 week window.
About a week later I went to a walk in care doctor. He examined me and my rash and tested for chlaymida, gonorrhea, took my urine sample checked for bacteria. He gave me enconazale nitrate cream for my rash and gave me a prescription of 4 azithromycin. He also gave me a shot in my butt to be safe but cannot remember what that was. Everything came back negative. So I thought I had a bad fungal infection or herpes that hasn't shown up yet.
Recently I developed little spots on my penis head, which are spreading over the whole head now . Thinking it was chlamydia or herpes I took 4x azithromycin 250 caps and 2x famciclovir 125 tabs. That night I went I the shower. I had a huge rash covering my whole stomach , above my groin and the inside of my thigh . It was very noticeable and pronounced . The next day it was gone. But the little but on my inner thigh was still there.
I went to the clinic on Monday and had a swob test, a blood test and provided a urine sample and they came back with a instant NUS and gave me some Azithromycin. I have taken that as proscribed as one dose and now I have seen a rash on the palm of my hands and on and under my feet which resembles white looking blisters under the skin which are not raised or itchy. I have also developed allot of spots on my chest and face and a few single spots around hair follicles else where on my body.
Thank you! I was told by the Costa Rican Pharmacy that the 1g of Azithromycin will also clear up gonorrhea... but later read that I need atleast 2g for that!
Also, I forgot to mention that the 9 girls were all prostitutes... but I think that was understood.
From what I understand, when a condom breaks... its very obvious! I didn't see any visible tears in any of the condoms, and each of the condoms were latex (lubed and non-lubed Trojans). I'm hoping that all is ok.
I did some research online and found that 2grams of Azithromycin. So I get the meds and I took them tonight. Should that kick it? btw- I developed 3 open sores. they've healed now ( almost except one) but if you could give some advice, I'd appreciate it. THANKS!

Furthermore, had you contracted infection, it is most likely that you would have acquired either gonorrhea, chlamydia or NGU and the amount of azithromycin you took should be curative for each of these. Thus, to summarize your situation:
1. This was a no risk exposure. It was condom protected. STDs are not spread through masturbation
2. Even in the off chance that you were infected, the amount of azithromycin you took 2.
I have had no symptoms other than small pimple like rash develop on the inside of my elbow and forearm, and tops of feet.
They have been there, come and go, for about 3 weeks, and they began sometime a few weeks after exposure. The time frame for exposure to symptoms is consistent with possible hiv exposure and subsequent ars symptoms.
Any thoughts on ars rashes expressing itself with my description?
Saturday i went to the doctor because i woke up and it hurt to swallow and talk the doctor gave me azithromycin and guaifenesin. i took the first 2 pills of the azithromycin and i was fine the next day i took the next one and later that day i got really itchy. well i stopped taking them and started taking benadryl cause i figured i got an allergic reaction to it.
ve been cause by antibiotics, and should go away on its own. Sometimes the rash is okay, and sometimes it burns really bad, and I don't know what to do. I have an appointment tomorrow but I don't know if they'll tell me anything different. They also said they want to put me on azithromycin again, which I don't understand because if it didn't work the first time, why would it work now?

I was recently diagnosed with Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and took medication prescribed by my doctor (suprax and azithromycin). The itching and symptoms went away - but I still have a rash on the head of my penis that will not go away. I have tried lotrimin, cortizone, prescription steroid cremes and nothing will get rid of the rash. It does not itch but it is red and slightly raised - it looks much worse when I have an erection.

After 3 weeks from initial contact, the head of my penis is red and blotchy. Just the top part. Nothing is raised or ulcerated. Just a little uncomfortable. Sometimes its more visible (gets pretty red) then others. Im also STRESSING and obsessing about it every second of every day.
But that time while in the water I started to feel itchy on my skin and when I went back home I developped a rash on my body. Mainly on my torso and it was flat and itchy, and I had some pimples like on my arms. it was all very itchy.
What do you think this could have been? Do you think it is related to my visit to the beach?
I went to the doctor and after a mid-stream urine test and a swab, the doctor told me that I had clamydia and thought that this might have been dormant in my body for a while and just surfaced when my immunity was low. He prescribed Azithromycin (single dose) 1000mg. The pain went away but after 3-4 days the burning resurfaced and I visited an STD clinic at the two week mark after the encounter. They took a swab and told me I didn't have an STD but probably a urinary tract infection.
Fell heavy and pronounced discomfort in bladder. Urine urgency and dysuria. Constant urethral discomfort. No rash, red mark .No flu , fever or body / muscle aches. At present I have typical prostatitis symptoms, however with itchy scrotum.
Today I have started metronidazole 400 mg with cipro 500mg Bid to rule out any E.coli or Trichomoniasis related prostatitis.
IRight now no medical facility near by and have to wait for another 7 days to get expert medical help USG and tests etc.
0 grams (4 500 mg pills) taken at one time is just as effective as penicillin for syphilis treatment however, there are some cases of treatment failures with azithromycin for syphilis treatment and many of the treatment failures have come from San Francisco where you apparently live. Thus this is a matter of concern.
While many people will be cured by therapy of early syphilis with azithromycin, the dose you have received is not the recommended dose.
