It has now been a month since my last dose and I am still experiencing loose stools. They are not watery, just very loose and urgent (2 to 3 movements within 2 hours in the AM). Can we take Imodium for gas and diarrhea?
I'm going away tomorrow and my sheltie has the runs,somebody says to give him an imodium tablet,has anybody any idea how much to give ?
Vitimans, lots of water, eltrolites. And I'd recommend staying away from imodium unless taking it properly. I also read ppl taking way way to much. In my opinion was just dumb. There is no quick fix for withdrawl,just time as what I've learned. I'm sure there are something's your doc can prescribe you for help. But I just stayed the natural route and wanted everything bad outa my body. Goodluck and keep posting.
0 grams (4 500 mg pills) taken at one time is just as effective as penicillin for syphilis treatment however, there are some cases of treatment failures with azithromycin for syphilis treatment and many of the treatment failures have come from San Francisco where you apparently live. Thus this is a matter of concern.
While many people will be cured by therapy of early syphilis with azithromycin, the dose you have received is not the recommended dose.
I read online that the combination of Ciprofloxacin and Azithromycin can be dangerous. Is this still the case, if the last Ciprodose was one week before the 2g Azithromycin dose?
I have read lots of your post concerning biaxin and azithromycin and whether they cure syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU. I have found that biaxin is chemically different than azithromycin but biologically same at killing bacteria as azithromycin. On some post you say that azithromycin or clarithromycin(biaxin) would cure all the bacterial stds then in others you state that there could be some problems.

Hi, I got a test done and it came back positive for chlamydia. I took 1g of azithromycin on Monday night. I went to a lunch today and I started drinking a beer because it had totally slipped my mind that I took the medication on Monday. I finished the one beer, but drank only water the rest of the time. Will that one beer affect my being cured or affect the medication? Thanks.
I have been taking Azithromycin for 4 days. I have gotten worse. Still have fever and have developed nasal congestion with yellow discharge. ENT gave me Spectracef. I read that Spectracef does not treat mychoplasma. So, is there an antibiotic that would treat both mychoplasma AND sinusitis incase I have one or both?
I was also just taking a 5 day dose pack of azithromycin for a sinus infection. I started having heart palpatations as well. I have tachycardia anyways so I didn't really associate it with the medicine. It really started worrying me when my left arm started feeling weak and tingling. This usually also happens when I have an SVT attack but it goes away quickly. This tingling lasted all day. My heart palpatations were more frequent as well.
00PM on day 0, took 1g Azithromycin at 2:45 on day 0, and had sex with my gf at 9:00AM on day 1, had sex with my gf again on day 2 in the evening, and noticed the symptoms on day 3. On day 4 I took 500mg of Azithromycin in the afternoon. It is now day 5. I don't know why my symptoms started to appear more than 24 hours after taking Azithromycin. I guess there were several hours for any bacteria to proliferate before the Azithromycin reached the tissues of my urethra.

t exactly listening to what the nurse had to say while being in full blown anxiety attack mode. She had prescribed 4 pink oval pills of Azithromycin 250mg and I took them all at once like I was supposed to. My question is that with my obsessive thinking and severe depression and anxiety, especially over this, can I still smoke medical marajuana after having taken the antibiotics? Before the antibiotics I was/am a regular medical marajuana smoker. Will it affect the medication in any way?
Monday of this week, I noticed what looked like an ingrown hair on my scrotum. I FREAKED OUT!! Syphilis came to mind. I overreacted and took a 1000 mg pill of Azithromycin in the morning and one that night. Still freaking out on Tuesday, I googled more and saw where recommened dose was 2 grams in a single dose. I took 2, 1000 mg pills immediately. The chancre seems to be fading, but Im still freaking out. Will the amount of Azitromycin ive taken cure or stop any progression of any STDs?

After taking Azithromycin and getting a shot in my butt and waiting 7-8 days is it safe for me to receive oral sex from a female even if my symptoms cleared up the next day I took them and after being treated and given a shot and if I got treated within 5 days in noticing something is my chance of getting rid of a STD higher since I reacted on it faster and after waiting 7-8 days after taking azithromycin and getting a shot can not use a condom and still be safe even when the symptoms cleared up
