971268 tn?1253200799 During tx I used Aveeno Skin relief Moisturizing Lotion. Its the one with cooling menthol. I also used the Aveeno oatmeal bath packets, when I had the rash. Both of them helped, but only provided temporary relief. It was better than nothing though.
Avatar n tn i had this problem as well, and i was switched from synthroid to armour, but i think thats just me, i dont think that would solve the problem for everyone. i use aveeno skin relief lotion at night. i also use aveeno skin relief shower gel, it makes a world of difference. and if the itching is horrilbe i take some allergy medicine and that helps, i either take benadryl or chlor-tabs, sometimes both if its really bad.
Avatar n tn A lotion I got today that is working and feels good on my skins Aveeno Stress Relief. I have problems with Dove soap and many, many lotions. I don't know about the toilet paper. Maybe something unscented. Good luck! What kind of toothpaste is working for you?
5441854 tn?1371187494 I have total pregnancy brain and keep forgetting to ask my dr. Have you tried sensitive skin lotion?

Avatar n tn Try an oatmeal bath and some baby aveeno eczema lotion, if that doesn't give you relief ask the doc
Avatar f tn Use Aveeno lotion. It really helps. They also have cortisone for eczema relief. My husband has eczema and his feet get so dry and cracked. He sometimes uses diaper rash cream too. Poor baby, hope you find relief soon.
Avatar f tn I'm the same way! 33 weeks and can't stop itching.I bought an aveeno body wash that is suppose to help with ititching and I took benedryl last night. I was able to get some relief, but it has started up again.
Avatar f tn Gold Bond Ultimate Moisturizing skin therapy lotion, then Aveeno Active Naturals, Skin Relief moisturizing Lotion (Blue) and then for the the HUGELY itchy, crack head sores etc... I use Aveeno Anti Itch Cream, (also blue) these were suggested by my Dr. as they are made with oats. Also, apparantly we're not to bathe more than 2 or 3 times a week! This will help keep the moisuture in our skin. Hope this helps, and good luck!!
Avatar m tn First of all I eliminated all harsh soaps and switched to moisturizing soaps like Dove, Caress, or Tone. Aveeno moisturizing lotion with cooling menthol gives temporary relief with the rash, as does using the Aveeno Oatmeal baths ( helps a lot ). Some people use the Gold Bond Anti Itch products. The best thing for relief from the itching is Atarax and it works well for many hours. However, you will have to have your doctor write a prescription for it.
Avatar f tn I have the rash on my entire torso, off and on on my legs, my scalp, and now a little on my face (eek!). I sometimes switch with Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion (with soothing oat essence). It also relieves the itching immediately. Can't do anything about my rash on my head though unless I want to put lotion in my hair, which I don't. Hope you find relief.
Avatar n tn The ONLY over the counter treatment that works (and works well) is Aveeno Excema Care (now called Aveeno Advanced Care). This is an oatmeal-based lotion that prevents flareups and reverses minor flareups. With use twice a day she hasn't had a flare up in months - however, when we stopped using it for a few weeks (Aveeno took it off the market temporarily when they changed the packaging), her eczema came back and none of the other products (including Mustela) did anything.
Avatar f tn Aveeno for excema.
Avatar f tn Things that have helped me have been cool showers, not using harsh soap, and aveeno sheer hydration lotion mixed with 100% lanolin cream for the extra itchy areas. It has helped. I thought I was going to claw my skin off. Tip the aveeno lotion I apply everywhere and the lanolin I use it on the boobs, feet, lips and any spit thats super itchy. Warning that lanolin will stain clothes and sheets so use a towel and old clothes to protect from ruining anything nice.
Avatar f tn Thank you ladies I bought the aveeno lotion and body wash shampoo....I'll give it a try....cant wait for this baby boy ...im huge...
Avatar f tn They're stretching so the skin is bound to get irritated, don't scratch! Get some good aveeno calming lotion for the rash and then keep up with a good lotion once it's gone. If the rash persists you should call your doc though.
Avatar f tn My skin was extremely dry I tried coconut oil tummyy butter aveeno lotion and baby oil nothing helped so I started using something called "mothers friend" it works amazing got it from a local pharmacy but it can be ordered online and is only $8. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water also it helps. For my hair ive been using mane and tail horse shampoo.
Avatar f tn In week one he started to complain about very dry skin. We combated that with non fragranced creams like Aveeno lotion and soap. All was great until today now he has a skin rash in his groin area and on down his legs. Any one else have these problems as it is Saturday night and the soonest I can speak to his doctor is Monday.
Avatar f tn I use aveeno lotion. And i lotion every day.
Avatar f tn Have you tried soaking in a bath with Aveeno oatmeal? Some days I would do that twice a day. Make sure you don't use hot water as it can make it worse. If your typical lotions aren't enough (I loved Eucerin Body Cream and Aveeno lotions), talk to your doctor. There are things that can help. I used hydrocortisone cream mixed into my body lotions to dilute it somewhat. If you use hydrocortisone cream on the really bad spots, use it sparingly, and not on your face.
Avatar f tn My dermatologist recomended this. Also, the lotion you are using might irritate her skin. My dermatologist first gave me Aveeno lotion to use (a sample) and nothing has ever burned my skin so badly. I've never had lotion burn my skin, but Aveeno did.
Avatar f tn If you get to a store look for some Witchhazzel lotion or soap its been the most relief I can get for it. Give it a few days doing this and if it gets worst go to your doctor and see if they know whats causing it.
Avatar f tn Most babies get it, try baby aveeno or aquaphor lotion(spelling?) They are both in the baby section at walmart. For my daughter any Johnson and johnsons products made it worse.
Avatar m tn make sure you put lotion on such as aveeno, eucerin, cetaphil, i also use natural soap. all of this info was given to me by the people in this forum, and i am so thankful for these people. also do not go in sun and if you do wear sunblock, and cover yourself up, including head. hope this helps.
Avatar m tn Aveeno Oatmeal products worked good but provided temporary relief. The only thing that gave me long term relief for 8 hours was a pill called Atarax, its prescription only. I doubt I could have made it through tx without this pill. The pill will make you drowsy but I found the itchiness was most intense in the evening, especially when sleeping. I was able to sleep well with Atarax.
