Except for a low growth of Group B strep. The discharge has a burning sensation, I have stomach pains, pain sometimes with sex, painful periods, excessive lubrication with sex.. There isnt a stong odor however. My Dr has treated me with Metronidazole- brand name used was flagyl Nylstatin for yeast, clamycin,spandnox (for yeast), and recently had some relief with Augmentin(which was prescribed for a chest infection).
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have diarrhea that is severe or lasts longer than 3 days, or if you have nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).These are life threatening symptoms.
Pls consult your dental surgeon to switch over to other antibiotics like third generation cephalosporins.
On Monday I went doctor since I had some fever and sore throat, he said it was tonsillitis and prescribed me Augmentin 500g (amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium) and paracetamol. Okay now I don't have fever anymore and I don't feel the pain, it's getting better so I've stoped with paracetamol. But since yesterday I've started to have diarrhea. It's painless, I just notice some sounds in my stomach and a sudden need to go wc.

on my left tonsil, half of the inflamed tonsil is covered by a flap of skin. that skin is very irratated and red, this is probably due to the skin stretching as well as my tonsils having issues in general. the back of my throat (not my tonsils) are covered in small "blisters" or "pimples" the kind you sometimes get under your tongue.
The dyflucan was supposed to also re stabilize my stomach bacteria because I was having horrible stomach cramps possibly due to the augmentin and the yeast infection apparently. I have been on this for over a week now with no noticeable signs of it clearing up.
He thought I had a secondary infection in the uterus and gave me Augmentin to take along with the other I am taking. It has been 36 hours and my breast is still really red and sore. I don't know what to do! I am worried that it may lead to sepsis?? Or should I not be worried since I am taking augmentin? It is the weekend, so I can't call my doc again. I haven't had a recurrence of fever or chills. Was the fever just a symtom of Mastitis?
It will be hard to determine exactly what caused the symptoms you described, but it was likely the hydrocodone. It can cause severe nausea, stomach pains, and dizziness. People occasionally have a bad reaction to hydrocodone even if they have taken it before. The symptoms you experienced were probably not due to an allergic reaction because they resolved so fast.
so I took my STD test but before I got the result I panicked thinking of gonorrhea or syphilis and took Augmentin for 3 days. Now the tests are all negative but considering the window period for some STD, should I finish taking Augmentin as a precaution to get rid of the possible infection? Thank you.
Because I had been previously diagnosed (and treated with 1000mg Amoxicillin three times daily) with a sinus and left ear infection about a month earlier he suspected that I could possibly have some type of resistant sinusitus and prescribed Augmentin XR (1000 mg) 2 pills twice a day. ve been experience throbbing pain around upper right teeth, my cheek, front and back of my head, and I have swollen painful gum around my right side of my face, and I right shoulder is aching. was aware I had the seizure problem and prescribed cipro, which I had to call and tell them to send me something different. The one at the pharmacy now is Augmentin. Just need a neurologist`s expert opinion as to whether or not it is alright to take Augmentin with my myoclonic seizure condition. Do not want to start up any seizures. The medicine started giving me bad side effcts, like stomach pain, head burning, joint pain, bad gas, stay bloated.. severe stomach cramping. So i stopped taking the medicine.. And then the stomach problems got worser.. Its been a month know since i stopped taking the medicine, and i still get extreme gas, bloated all the time, severe contracting, nausea, and stomach allergies to certain foods. Ive lost fiftteen pounds and i did a colon cleanse because i thought it was a bug i had.
I was prescribed augmentin for a sinus infection and I had no side effects while taking it. I finished it 4 days ago. Starting yesterday afternoon I had clay colored stool. I thought it would pass, but it hasn't. I have very slight stomach cramps. Is this normal and my body is just recovering from the antibiotic or should I be concerned?
She is fine during the day but every night it is the same thing- her stomach starts making load gurgling noises and her mouth gets watery and she vomits. She sleeps with us and nurses before she goes to bed and then once more during the night. Most of the time she doesn't vomit until 3am or 4am which is well after her feedings. She acts completely normal during the day.
Would the antibiotic still be in her system? Could she suddenly start have side effects of the antibiotic?
I have had chronic infections since infancy (usually throat, lungs, urinary system. and joint and muscle pain since 8 years of age. Pain seems to come in "flares", muscle pain is burning and aching, joint pain is aching. Currently also having frequent muscle contractions and facial twitching and tremors in hands. Slurred speech and memory problems occasionally.
