Avatar f tn I repeat, if they tied Viagra enhancement to HCV drugs, we would have Hillory's attention. . . . Out here in the Northwest our union is endorsing Edwards.
7157455 tn?1393307449 Or is it more likely we don’t want to take the time to understand these children? If you or someone you know has a child that has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), chances are the child is actually just fine. At least this is what the “father” of ADHD, Leon Eisenberg, would presumably say if he were still alive.
Avatar n tn Lyme can cause all kinds of mental health symptoms, like anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, memory problems, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, attention deficit, panic attacks, even hallucinations and schizophrenia. Although other things can cause leg pain, this does fit the Lyme pattern. Other treatments that may help you are supplementing magnesium and taking fish oil capsules.
Avatar f tn YORK — 7/13/11 Children exposed to secondhand smoke at home may be more likely than their peers to have learning and behavioral problems, according to a new study. Researchers found that of more than 55,000 U.S. children younger than 12 years, six percent lived with a smoker.
Avatar n tn I thought I just had Attention Deficit Disorder, or chronic fatigue syndrome, or fibromyalgia, or post polio syndrome...something Please! to blame my symptoms on!! But not HepC! Oh well, at least there is treatment for it. How do you folks hold jobs with this tx thing and all its sides? I don't know how ya do it! I am glad my husband lets me stay home but the money is getting real scarce. I am trying to sell products from home for some extra $$.
Avatar n tn We found out that is actually a big warning sign for ADD as they get older and realize they can't perform as well as their peers. He was diagnosed with moderate attention deficit, and mild to no hyperactivity. Many people think if the child isn't hyper, then they do not have ADD, but the two are not always together. I would suggest looking at some of the ADHD websites, especially, to see the symptoms and characteristics of ADHD.
Avatar f tn Other recent studies link even minuscule blood lead levels with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Even at concentrations well below those usually considered safe—levels still common today—lead increases the odds of kids developing ADHD.
1260255 tn?1288658164 I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that this has been a hard week for a lot of people on this forum. It's said that laughter is the best medicine and scientific studies have proven this (don't anyone challenge me to cite the studies!). An old post was resurrected this week "This Made My Day" and it was very, very funny to me and a lot of other people, so I'm hoping we can share some good medicine in the form of our favorite jokes with one another.
Avatar n tn One last comment that I wanted to make is that, many respiratory and psychological conditions such as Asthma and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) are significantly improved with the right diet. I was asthmatic and cured myself fully by changing my diet (processed sugars, caffeine, gluten, dairy!) and my husband was ADD through his young adulthood until he drastically changed his diet and he got himself away from all the meds that had been torturing him for so many years.
544292 tn?1268886268 Hi Warriors! Welcome to a beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. This is the place to be if you want off Tramadol ... you'll get support here. We're so glad you found us!

544292 tn?1268886268 Day 22 Cold Turkey Tramadol ... I woke up HAPPY. I used to wake up happy all the time, before the Tramadol. Waking up happy is good. Then I tried to move. I had to use my hands and arms to get up out of bed. My body has been pushed as far as it will go. So after trying all my best tricks (aminos, coffee, food, vitamins, water) I finally stopped the struggle and called in sick for work. Tomorrow will be a busier day anyhow.
328927 tn?1227765440 Helen: Yes, I am in the 2ww, but after the migraines, the metformin I just started taking kicked in and I have been curled up in a ball of extreme nausea for a few days. Thus, me and dh only BD'd 1 time on Sunday. So, I am not too hopeful that I will get a BFP this month. My follie was 14mm last Thursday, so I figured if I had to BD and feel ill, Sunday was my best bet. Did you get home in time for your IUI? all: LJ is having the same problem I am with our old post. Maybe it is too large!!!
Avatar f tn It doesn't seem to be like its stemming from a dream or a nightmare, i just open my eyes at night and see these, things in the room with me. People in the corner, maggots, snakes, spiders, mice in the bed, even the ceiling caving in. It's really getting old. When I was single, it was just kind of funny. But now that I'm married, its awful. I try to pull my wife out of the bed to save her or cover her face with the pillow so the animals don't get her.
551343 tn?1506834118 is now classed as a neurological disorder. There is a good link on the forum in the links thread all about M.E. and if you can get time I would read it as some of your symptoms could be M.E. M.E. is now becoming the disease of this millennium because the doctors have finally realised it has nothing to do with YUPPY FLU, but is a very debilitating disease in deed. AMNESIA. I must tell you in January 2007 I woke up fine and decided to cut and dye my hair.
Avatar n tn My first thought was- what the heck is going on- I have this bad sinus infection , on meds for that for 20 days- it never goes away- was told to take celexa- (which I took at the same time as the anti-biotic)- and then started having attacks, tingling in my fingers and toes, and then I am being sent to a pyschologists? for anxiety or panic disorder.??? I really hope you get better and I did go to chiropractor ( I have not been in a few months though)...maybe I should go back for a visit.
288415 tn?1231634102 and have asked for Dermotic Oil to try. I do want to mention. I have 2 dogs, one which is being treated for a yeast infection in her ears. She digs and groans at her ears. They actually smell the same as mine at times, I did try Monistat. Again, only temporary relief. Not sure if it was a good idea, but as most of you know, when your desperate, you'll try anything to relieve the itch. Another thought, it's creepy, but I read it somewhere....
Avatar n tn So i strongly suggest you visit a neurologist and do a sleep study. Then go from there. In the meantime, good luck and I hope we find out what is going on in our brain!!
Avatar n tn Would you have some testimonies, books or adresses to advice us in order to be updated in the comprehension of these sides effects and their potential treatments ? Any information will really be of great help, With my best regards.
Avatar n tn My wife thinks that I'm making things worse by turning all the clocks in the house (the ones that chime) off in order to avoid knowing the time so I don't panic by learning that I have ONLY a few hours left before I have to get up and get ready for work. Again, she thinks I am creating a great deal of anxiety for myself. Yes, I have a sleep study two years ago. I did not experience the tremor that night.
Avatar m tn A crawling sensation in skin is seen in people who are very anxious and stressed out. Very dry skin (you rule this out) and disorders of thyroid gland all can precipitate a crawling sensation. The other possibility is Morgellons disease often mimics scabies. The disease is believed to be caused by weak immune systems in people that have contracted the tick-borne Lyme Disease at some point in their life. It can also be a fungal infection like Tinea corporis.
Avatar m tn I have thought it may be some auto immune disorder that has your body attacking the cells in your eye. I have thought maybe it is something causing lesions on the optic nerves and/or pathways to the brain. I have considered that it may be in the brain itself . Since I am no physician I don't know the likely cause. All physicians also seem stumped by this condition. Any clues here would be appreciated though.
Avatar n tn The neuro surgeon said it was a large deep bleed in the left side of her brain, apparently she is lucky to have survived it and without surgery. The latest CT scan 3.5 weeks after the stroke the blood has started to re-absorb and swelling is going down. She is currently in a rehab hospital (March 18) with paralysis on the right side (arm and leg) and has aphasyia - she understands us but has a hard time getting her words out (she does put small phases together at times).
Avatar n tn For about 6 weeks I have been experiencing mid back pain when I wake up in the morning. The pain is so bad, I cannot go back to sleep, and NO position change helps. I must get out of bed and start walking around or sit in a chair for the pain to start going away. After an hour or two, the pain basically disappears. The pain seems to be emanating from my spine, and tensing up the back muscles nearest the spine.
363682 tn?1299492962 This has some molecular and genetic explanation which has something to do with alcohol metabolism in the body. In the absence of other symptoms though (eg weight loss, changes in bowel movement, neurological deficits) ,this may not be very urgent. One important thing to exclude here though is an allergic reaction.Watch out for any diffiulty of breathing, rash that involves the entire body and generalized sensation of flushing. Continue to have a close follow up with your doctor.
