Avatar f tn I completed part two a little over 2 weeks ago and, today, I went back to the Dr. for the results. I once was told I had Attention Deficit Disorder. Today, the Dr. advised me that was a wrong dx. She stated that all the testing proved I didn't have a problem with my attention. She stated that my brain is very slow in processing any and all information. There was one test I did in which there were the words, red, black, blue, green. On page 1, I just had to read the words.
Avatar m tn I do not have my feelings and thoughts out of order, so I do not have a disorder, I simply am, I AM. Free association an complex thoughts are fun for me, as long as I rest my mind enough. So my thoughts gently persuade my mood, there is no way to control them. My theory now is, that if I maintain mental elasticity and allow my moods to be, yet be careful of my thoughts surrounding them, I can avoid another psychotic break. That is all I am really concerned about.
Avatar n tn About 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a learning disorder called ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. I was surprised by the diagnosis, as I had already graduated, straight A's and honors, with a BA in English--something that took a great deal of focus and attention.
Avatar n tn Read this & see if it rings any bells. good luck A Special Message To The Health Professional William G. Crook M.D. Dear Colleague: Many infants and young children who come to your office are troubled by middle ear disorders. While some children may have what appears to be a mild URI, they may complain to their mothers, "my ear hurts". Other children come in with severe ear pain, fever and purulent discharge from their nasal passages.
Avatar n tn to faking or drugs from the very first of two ambulances, to the Neurologist that has decided that my son has Attention Deficit Disorder. What I saw that morning, no child could fake. The emotions I saw in him through out that day were sureal and so outrageous, but all the drug tests came back clean. The Neurologist said that the MRI showed damage to his occipital lobe, isn't that a problem? I mean, you can't fake that right?
220090 tn?1379170787 Each time I took interferon, it left me with Attention Deficit Disorder that was long lasting. Each treatment seemed to be additive. After my last treatment that ended in 2008, I ended up with full blown ADD that made me impulsive and seriously detracted me to the point that I could not read and process anything that was very detailed. I spent much of my career managing large software projects, so I was very lucky this didn't happen until after I retired.

572651 tn?1531002957 I have had my doctor resubmit the prior authorization and request for the Nuvigil because her first submission was so not right. No wonder it was denied. I called my insurance company and asked exactly what did they need. They said we could do a new request and they told me all the details. I gave those to my doctor and told her they said to be very thorough. I hope she does what I asked because I gave her all the info she needed. I am waiting to see how it turns out.
Avatar f tn Playing with poop is not typically something that results from ADHD. It is often seen in Reactive Attachment Disorder with children. RAD is often seen in adopted children, where the initial attachment with the biological mother has been disrupted, even if the child was very young or an infant when adopted. It is something that can be easily addressed in therapy, but cannot be eliminated through meds, since it's a response to stressors not genetics.
Avatar n tn Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I'm blessed to have tons of energy even on tx. I am so hyper it drives people crazy. Also I have some mexican blood from my father's side so I think my quick temper can outdo any red-head's! I was up last night till about 1:30. Got up at 5:30 with my grandbaby, went back to sleep at 7:00 up at 9:00 and now off to work all day at 2 jobs. And I feel pretty crappy too, just no problem in the energy dept. till about 7:00 tonight!
Avatar n tn Especially core stabiity stuff.. respiratory pysiotherapists can treat this disorder by retraining your breathing. There are none in my city that I know of yet but I am looking! Please update any progress :( Also, 1 in 10 people has this don't feel alone.
Avatar f tn In looking for whats the cause, I've seen a lot of things, but I don't think I have a sleep disorder, because I sleep great. I've never taken drugs, prescription or non. One message board mentioned that its merely a nutritional deficiency thing, so I'm going to try some multi vitamins. That doesn't seem like it could be it, but i'll try about anything. And if that doesn't work, I'm going to have my head examined.
Avatar n tn Probably, I have some type of seronegative arthritis such as a.s. I also have an ai blood disorder. I'm glad I'm SVR and I'll do what I need to do to treat these autoimmune issues as well. In my view, the ai problems are still better than the alternative.
Avatar f tn wow.... i just experienced the same thing seconds ago and out of desperete need of an explanation i googled this.. im actually doing my project for school right now that is due tommorow and ive been sitting in front of my computer for several hours of silence. out of no where, my mind kind of wandered and my ears focused on the smallest noises. typing keys are like banging, and the sound coming from my computer booms. everything is magnifyed in perspective, and ringing within my head.
Avatar m tn My husband says I pay too much attention to my spot and that if I'd just forget it, it would go away. Do you ever get headaches at night from all the squinting and looking at (searching for) your spots? The whole things makes me so depressed sometimes.
Avatar f tn sometimes it drives me nuts, other times if im not really paying attention I don't notice it much. nerves are a crazy thing. I read where some one who had this problem got some one to punch him in the mouth just so he could get his lip stitched and possibly given something that would help, and of course it didn't. but its probably true that 85% of people who had this issue NEVER recover while the 15% recover in 6 months to a year.
Avatar n tn But then the next day I realized I was competing with xhamster, rawtube, youporn, hardsextube for my husband's attention. I am just one woman. How can I possibly complete with porn stars and freaky amateurs. That got me wondering about all the amateur videos posted on those sites. I wondered if perhaps these women were allowing their sex sessions to be taped in order to keep up with their partners' addition.

162948 tn?1205256292 I recently had my IUD removed, and started to get discouraged after several negative tests. I did a little bit of research, since my doctor never told me what to expect afterwards. It is normal to bleed heavy clumps after it is removed. The IUD works a couple different ways. It does reduce your uterine lining, blocking fertilized eggs from implanting on the uterus, or by creating a mild inflammation which prevents sperm from fertilizing eggs.
