ativan euphoria

Nodding is not a form of euphoria for me...i can do that all by myself!

Hello, I am new to this community, I suppose I should tell you a littlebit about myself first.. Well, I am a CP patient who was in a MVA accident a couple of years ago, and have been taking opiates for my pain. I am a little shy to ask this because I don't want to be judged as being an addict or something, but I always thought that you could tell that a narcotic was working based on that warm fuzzy feeling you get..

i feel amazing i am not like crazy happy but i am content and i am kind of anxious about how bad i will feel once the euphoria is gone

The severe attacks could only be stopped with intravenous Ativan, and even after that my mind was calm or I was tranquilized, but my heart often didn't stop racing and blood pressure stayed very high. Heart and blood pressure is ok most of the time now. I've had no other experiences like these attacks. I'd rather break all my bones then go through one of those again. Attacks were worse than my bone breaks and complete shoulder separation. Heart rate was sometimes 200+.

One of the things I enjoyed about the painkillers was the feeling of euphoria they produced in addition to relieving pain, Because of this there were a number of times I experimented with them and combined them with other medicines that I had been prescribed, such as ativan or hydroxyzine. About a month ago, my oncologist gave me one last prescription to wean off the Vicodin over a 4 week period.

I do have a question. I'm day 5 clean. Yesterday afternoon, i had this sudden wave of euphoria, like when the pills would start to kick in. ( i didnt take any! ) Is this normal??

But I checked with another study recipient and we both agree that there is a mild sense of well being and euphoria that sets in about an hour after taking PSI 7977 and lasts for varying lengths of time and then begins to change to fatigue. It is like getting gas or a valium before a dental procedure. Has anyone else experienced such sensations on any of the hepatitis medications; experimental or not?

My question is about using a mood stabilizer (Lamictal) with my Opana and hydromorphone, fentanyl and before, oxycontin. I do not get any euphoria from opiate or opiod medications or get much mental effects..and I'm wondering if my mood stabilizer is the reason for this...like it maintains me at an a level mood and this prevents my mood from being elevated similar to how it prevents me from having manic symptoms. Just a fyi, I'm not looking for the euphoria and hyperness etc....

I currently have weird feeling like in the scalp area in my head. ive had this weird lightheaded almost close to euphoria feeling in my head. started last night i was hungry so i ate my dinner and i also drank some soda cola. i ate it and later i had a slight bowel movement in the bathroom. I took bath and i puked a little not much but puked. I later had a weird head sensation like a euphoria feeling in my head. weird. i finished taken a bath and then went on to the computer.

It does great for my pain but I love the euphoria it gives me and motivation. My body is wired to where I get wired when I take it. My question is would switching to opana er still relive the pain and not give me the wired out and euphoric side effects that I'm starting to enjoy so much? I've heard opana er and ir have the opposite effects.

Will I ever feel the same euphoria again without opiates???I know I did when I was younger...but everything seems/seemed dulled on the pills... Stupid question...just rolled in my head...scared..what if its never the same??

Methadone is a much longer acting opiate that vicodin, but it will still give a form of euphoria. Your doctor is probably prescribing the methadone to give you better pain releif for a longer period so you don't have to take as many lortab. At one point when I was having severe neck pain, my doctor also put me on lortab and a small dose of methadone. Please be careful, as both drugs are very addictive and methadone is very hard to withdrawal from.

Perhaps it will...but if it does not..and PAWS bites u hard...be aware enuf to know the right moves to make...cos u and ur recovery r very important//using gets us nowhere//we know that or we would not be here keep posting//and i wish u the umph most good days that u can possibly have//just remember everyday is not a good day//not even for nopn-addicts..

Before I am about to go to sleep sometimes, I feel a tingle/ticklish feeling in the center of my brain, followed by this warm buzzing euphoria that gets stronger and stronger until it feels as if I am going to pass out or die. What is this? I always shake myself out of this euphoria because I begin to loose myself to the feeling. It's like being swept away in an ocean of bliss. I am curious, if I allow it to overtake me, will I die? Or simply pass out? What in the world is this?

t tell you ativan is the boogey man, it helps and you do seem to have an awareness about using it. Ativan is a Benzodiazipiem<sp and it has dangers like most drugs out there. Particularly withdrawing from them, causes seizures in heavy usages. I think in most cases you should listen to your doctor. If you don't trust your doctor you should consider finding a new one. I as well have taken both Xanax and Ativan. I personally feel that the Ativan is better. I do not take it often. Only when I am having an attack coming. The biggest difference I felt in the two medications was that with Xanax, I woke up very groggy still not much calmer. Ativan I do not wake up groggy and I actually am relaxed. I think you would benefit from trying it. IF you do not care for it than either ask to be put back on Xanax or a different one all together. Good luck!

Am off Fentanyl pops for over a year, now stuck on 12=16mg of ativan a day. WTF am I doing?

Hi again. I was wondering if anyone takes Ativan daily? I was told I could take this along with the Zoloft until the Zoloft kicks in. That just seems odd to me but...........it works. I didn't take it today just to see what I felt like and I've been nervous and anxious all day. I'm just confused on how long to wait before the Zoloft works on it's own (it's been 3 weeks & I know it can take a month or more) and when I'll be able to NOT use the Ativan.

75mg but you started taking ativan along with the clonazepam and it is the ativan that you started taking at 2mg/day. Is that correct? Now you are trying to get off the ativan and you are down to .80mg How often do you take the clonazepam per day and what is the dose each time. The same question for the ativan...how often/day and what is each dose. Are you on any other medications?

hi, im not a doctor, but im taking ativan for years. The Ativan works for 4 hours , how long it stays in system about up to 3 days.it depands on how many mg you took . instead of talking more , try to skip the ativan , instead of 3 times a day, try 2 pills a day for few days.The mdication will start to work again. Your body just get used to those specific meds.It is very easy to get used to it and get hook on those meds.Just be careful.

i was only on depokote since the 8 of aug and also the ativan stopped my klonopin and was put on ativan and i was doing good till today yesterday i took 4 ativans instead of 3 maaybe thats why 1 mg pills ot yesterdat is when i cut back to 250 mg of depokote instead of 500 mg i could use some ideas

Both gave me horrible side effects. The she prescribed me .5 Ativan and Lexapro. Ativan works for a little bit but whenever I take .5 mg of Lexapro it seems to exaggerate the anxiety. I started taking the medications for 4 days now . Is it possible to have any withdrawal symptoms from taking Ativan? I am determined to find something like herbal supplements to help me with the anxiety. Please help me. Thank you.

i am down to 1/4 of a 1/2 of a pill starting tommorwo for 7 days and then i am done with this ativan i guess my question is next monday after i take the last of ativan will the weakness in my legs and arms go away,?
