ativan and gravol

i'm addicted to gravol really bad, i take 30 or more daily plus methadone at 50 mg and this is administered by my pharmacist, he doesn't know about my gravol addiction, i'm lost and don't know what to do

I am the process of withdrawing from dilaudid and codeine and am feeling really sick. Is it better to just ride it out or would Gravol help. Any input would be appreciated.

Absolutely talk to a doc. So often we just take pills to treat symptoms and it is SO important to discover what is actually causing these symptoms. I promise you will not go through withdrawal from Gravol. Who told you this? I have taken regular dosage of it (2 every 4 hours) for periods of time and then stopped when I no longer needed it and felt nothing. I've also been on IV Gravol in the hospital for up to 3 weeks, and stopped once the problem was fixed and again- no withdrawal.

Do they exacerbate nausea? Also, I'm wondering about Gravol Ginger. Any downside to using ginger root? I can't handle regular gravol. Too dopey.

Ive taken gravol for almost a year on and off , the last 3 months i have been taking a large amount. I have taken 70 pills in the last 12 days. I realized i had an issue , and just didnt know how bad the withdrawls etc would be. i havent taken any gravol for 2 days now and plan to quit. I feel like absolute garbage right now. I cant eat , i can sleep , but all i want to do is sleep. which is very hard considering i have 2 children and work full time.

Hi there- Honey, you and I have been talking for a long time. While I am not refuting the fact that you have a psychological addiction to Gravol (people can be addicted to anything) I have to STRONGLY say again that you will not have physical withdrawals from Gravol. I have taken Gravol on and off for nearly 2 decades. I have Crohn's disease and endometriosis and both these illnesses cause crippling nausea.

Hi honey, you're back! I think I mentioned before that Gravol taken at this low of a dose is not going to make you feel withdrawal. I've taken gravol for years off and on for nausea associated with my Crohn's and other illnesses. I've stopped when I don't have nausea and have had NO withdrawal effects. And I've taken MUCH higher doses than you. I really believe that it is an underlying medical condition causing these symptoms.

t work the next. I tried benadryl, gravol, melatonin, ativan but it seems you just have to wait it out. Sleep will come back eventually. I just slept when I could. I found if I went too long with out it I would develop anxiety and that was worse for me than anything. Good luck.

I have a really rough time getting to sleep. I spend about an hour or more just contemplating everything in my life before I'm able to get to sleep. I worry about things before I go to sleep and I'm constantly aware of my breathing and heart rate. I have these moments where everything feels weird and like I'm detached from reality. I know it's just anxiety but it really freaks me out...

( I also think the gravol is causing anxiety. I take half a pill every night just to sleep and I have been taking for 2-3 years. I feel so depressed just because I think I'll never be able to quit. Help please!!

Ok, so as stupid as this is going to sound, because this is not why I started posting on here a few weeks ago, but I took 300mg of Gravol last night...long story, but basically today I am sooo anxious. I feel like my skin in crawling and I can't sit still. My arms are also tingling like there a sleep. Is there anything I can do (no meds please) that will relieve the symptoms? funny thing is my fiance...who was addicted to Oxys, suggested I go the the hospital!!! lmfao!!!

If you have no reason to need the Gravol physically, it is probably time to see a therapist. What you are describing, the panic and the tears and the worry in advance, is all mental/emotional, and probably what causes you to reach as a knee-jerk reaction for the drugs and to assume you must have them. An addictive personality is why some people go for drugs (or shopping, overeating, drinking, smoking...

Tylenol regular strength is the only safe thing....your doc may also allow gravol but never take gravol with out talking to doc.

I take lyrica, 100mg in morning, 100mg at night, and I take sleeping pills, 1mg ativan at night. The ativan usually kicks in after an hour, and I sleep soundly, well until recently, I've develped a bit of tolerance to it. So my dr. wrote a script for imovane (i think that is what ambien is called in Canada).

Ocasionally ginger tea will take away symptoms of vertigo and seasickness (and airsickness). Use thin slices of fresh ginger, steep for twenty minutes, and drink three to four cups a day.

Where do you buy the gravol? I presume at a pharmacy and if so, you can ask them what its effects are and how to quit because pharmacists have lots of experience with everything they sell.

My friend has motion sickness and she finds gravol works and helps a lot.

Has anyone with scopolamine patch withdrawal just tried to go cold turkey and tough it out? IF so, how long did it take you to feel better?

I am anywhere between 8 and 10 weeks along 8 according to my last period doc and family thinks im farther along but wont know until the ultrasound next month.

I took my .5 mg ativan and one benadryl for stuffy nose. Now wide awake and have to be up to work in 2 hours. Has this ever happened to anyone?? I also take my 12.5 zoloft in morning will this make me more jittery??

) but i do take 12 hour fast acting gravol which helps releave the symptoms a bit, sometimes i do still vomit and i still have a (gut rot) feeling threw out the day. i havent started any medications or changed my diet prior to these symptoms. ( i try to avoid greasy, spicy foods and alcohol.as recommended) ive had blood work which came up fine and an ultra sound that im waiting to hear the results.

I started 5 mg Celexa 5 days ago and the doctor gave me .5 mg Ativan for just in case. My question is how long until the Celexa starts working? If I use the Ativan too often will it effect how the Celexa works? How hard are these to come off of?
