Hello , I am 43 year old and have high blood pressure i regularly take high BP medicines metropolol and Atacand 16 plus. I have taken all test and my heart seem ok and vessels are clear but my left chest pain just above the left breast does not go away. pain sometimes extend to left arm. also i have a left leg slight partial tightness feeling, Shortness of breath, Chest heaviness, fatigued, sleepy and irritable, Excessive daytime drowsiness, . Doctor says nothing is wrong!
In April 2010 I experienced major shortness of breath and my Atacand was reduced to 16 mg per day.That relieved the shortness of breath.
My current GP doctor stopped Atacand in October 2012.
In November 2011 I had an echocardiogram at that time my LVEF was 60%. The mean pressure gradient was 16.5mHG, the max pressure gradient was 30.0 mmHG. The aortic valve area was calculated to be 0.70 cm²
That echocardiogram was performed in a hospital.

I am 58 and have had high blood pressure since I was 35. At that time and still today, I am under a lot of stress. I also suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and take medication for that along with amlodipine besylate, 5 mg. anymore than that and my ankles swell up. I also take 12.5 mg atenolol and anymore than that and it causes palpitations. I also take Atacand 16 mg. and Clonidine, 0.1 mg. I don't know why my blood pressure can't be controlled either.
Hi all I am 50 (will b 51 in few months), with high bp managed with Atacand plus and last visit my doc said im perimenopausal.
At the end of last year my cycle missed then it came on 18th Feb and lasted till 22nd March.
It then returned couple days ago and I've spent the day with horrible cramps and each evening around 6pm it's as it a tap has been turned on and I bleed profusely. I am going to my doctor first thing Monday but just wondered if anyone else has had this experience?
I read about a trial where they were using Candesartin (Atacand) to prevent scar tissue from forming in the liver, as it's an angiotensin receptor blocker.
Atacand saved my life. I had heart failure, almost on the transplant list. I found a great doc at UCDavis (after firing one in Auburn who almost killed me), who put me on the Atacand. My heart is now normal!
So when I saw this trial I was really curious.
What does her doctor say? I would follow her dr.s advice.
so the timeline for that test would be 16 days for first encounter and 12.5 days for 2nd. after researching endlessly ive stumbled across freedomhealth in the UK and the advertise a pcr by dna for 10-14 days post contact as does another uk std clinic. also a porn industry testing center in Cali has advertised the same dates. I was wondering what you could make of this situation and if my tests are looking good or just plain good.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 3 years ago--TSH was 17.5. Now taking Synthroid plus Cytomel. At dose of 125 mcg Synthroid, 12.5 Cytomel my TSH was 1.6 I felt O.K. but kind of sluggish and I get muscle pain and some constipation. When I increased to 137.5 mcg Synthroid, 12.5 Cytomel, I feel much better,no muscle pain. Is that too much medication? My endocrinologist is surprised I feel different with such a small change. Says it's O.K. but we have to monitor because of heart risks.
I'd been taking spasmocip plus by Cipla for 4 months. Initially it was like 4 caps a day but then in the later stage it increased to 8-16 caps a day. Ive quit since 3 weeks now. I dont feel the urge anymore. But Im palpitating with 90 beats/min and suffering for sleeplesness and excessive sweating. What do I need to do?
Allegra, Zyrtec or loratadine. I was on 12.5 zoloft for 2 weeks and tapering up to 25 mg (split another 12.5 in half so 3/4 a pill then one whole 25 mg. I have to do this slowly as I am super sensitive to meds. Thanks for any help. Plus I eventually need to taper down my ativan when I level on the zoloft.

He takes Atacand, Norvasc and Bystalic for blood pressure, Zolof, Restasis for his eyes and an Excelon Patch for his memory. He is very stubborn and refuses to go to a geriatric doctor and his own doctors don't seem to know nor do they seem concerned about what's causing it.
So maybe an odd question but this is my 4th pregnancy FIRST baby. It's been a long road and I am beyond excited and ready for a baby bump. I am 5'4" 205 and a size 14/16. Anyone out there similar.....When did you start to show?

About 16 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex (giving and receiving) and protected vaginal with a female sex worker. At about 6 weeks I noticed a slight tickle in my throat/chest. I decided to get an HIV test at 7.5 (51 days) weeks with a PCR DNA test and 3rd gen ELISA, both were negative. Then at about 9 weeks I started to notice some discomfort in my mouth and throat, I tested again at 10.5 weeks with a 3rd gen ELISA test, which came back negative again.
