With dizziness and blood pressure meds one of the indicators as it being the wrong dosage or not compatable w. your system is the dizziness. My personal opinion pretty much goes right in line w.
Avatar f tn re having some trouble with your blood pressure. I agree with your physician that 156/66 is too high. Your blood pressure should be below 130/80, with lower being even better if tolerated. Many things contribute to high blood pressure including age, genetics, weight, diet, exercise. It sounds like you're on the right track with your exercise. Aggressive diet and exercise can often get patients off of their medications altogether, especially if couple with weight loss.

He was released from the hospital and despite the emergency room test his BP continues to be erratic and uncontrolled with numbers like 161/95 after taking 4 pills.
Avatar n tn I'm sure this is probably nothing, but I've recently been referred to the hospital for tests due to high blood pressure. I'm only 24 and not over weight but have had blood pressure readings at the doctors office as high as 180/120. I had an appointment with a general specialist who didn't come to any conclusion as to what could be causing it. I have had numerous blood tests and ecg's.

Avatar n tn About me - 46 yr old female, slightly under weight, smoker (about 8 a day), casual drinker. Family history of heart disease. I have been dealing with high bp for about three years now, but the last six months or so it has been really hard to control. I was originally on Atacand for bp, but now it doesn't control it on its own, so I've also been prescribed a dieuretic by my internist.
Avatar f tn I've always had low bp, usually around 100/50 and my heart rate runs from 48 to 58 and I function completely normally. Even after exercising or jogging, it's rarely above 90. Very seldom do I get dizzy and I think when I do get dizzy, it has more to do with my breathing than my heart rate - my sinuses are so bad. I'm extremely active most of the time and it doesn't slow me down a bit.

1006065 tn?1251478669 High pain levels will cause your blood pressure to be high. Also the clondine will cause your blood pressure to be low. I seriously advise you to go to the ER as soon as possible. As Red said it is better to be safe. When your blood pressure is so low it puts a strain on your heart and you have other medical issues as well so please go ahead and see the the ER doctor. True he does not know your history but you can fill him/her in.

541196 tn?1293552936 Does anyone take medication for high blood pressure and is pregnant? If so, could you please tell me what you take and how successful it is? My dr. just prescribed me an ACE inhibitor that has a big ole warning about death to fetus. I am not pregnant, but my husband and I have been trying. We put our trying on hold for a few months, but would like to resume soon and we aren't super careful with protection now... leave it to God.

Avatar f tn Bupropion can cause pounding of heart and palpitations. It usually does not cause high blood pressure. If the high blood pressure is drug related, it will come down in 2-3 days. If the high BP persists, please get this investigated, monitored and treated. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.

11970743 tn?1426036106 Went to the hospital to get checked out for preeclampsia yet again, checked my blood pressure, urine for protein, and had a cuff on my arm that would check my blood pressure every ten mins and everything was just fine. We work ourselves up, I know I definitely do. Your feet can swell up from so many different things. They pretty much told me to just take it easy and stop being on my feet so much. Good luck!
