i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. This has gone on for 5 years since i fell off the back of my old works truck. Oh & 2 lots of pills for high blood pressure.
tried enbrel, mtx, simponi, mobic, ibuprof. and more. Thinking of cataflam, arthrotec. If something has helped your ra pain pls reply. Narcotics are out I drive for a living. Thank you.
I'm on very high dose of morphine tablets plus dihydrocodeine, zydol, baclofen, arthrotec, paracetamol & oramorph solutiion for my back pain. I have taken this for 5 years & now doctors are saying I need to cut down. They said to stop taking 1 x 60mg morphine tablet which i've done 5 days sgo but itls hell. My wife has found a detox place to get me off everything in 5 days. Would this be a good idea as i'm still in a lot of pain with my back. Hope to hear any suggestions.
I am going to see a specialist. My family doctor put me on arthrotec 75 mg. which does help with the pain. I can now move my arms without horrible pain. I am supposed to take it twice a day but it is unbelievable the cost of this stuff. Is that something they use for Fibro ? Any of this type medication has bad side effects.
i have an undisplaced tibia fracture and the doctor prescribe arthrotec. i want to know could it slow down the healing process? is it necessary to use arthrotec?

she told me that she felt i was having a miscarriage. she prescribed me tablets called arthrotec 75, i didnt take any as yesterday as i went to the toilet to pass urine i noticed in the bottom of the toilet a small clot looking thing. i was still bleeding very very lightly everytime i wiped. was this the baby that i passed? my bleeding is not heavy at all though. all pregnancy symptoms have disappeared and the test this morning came back pretty much negative.
If each acetaminophen tablet is an extra strength tablet of 500 mgs and my math is correct that means you are taking eight tablets to reach four grams and SIXTEEN tablets to reach eight grams or 8,000 milligrams and Eighteen tablets to reach nine grams? Recommended maximum dosage is 4,000mgs in a 24 hour period and they were recently discussing the possibility of lowering that to 2,000 mgs per day.
All at once? Why? It cannot be an effective pain reducer at that level.
ll take more injections with more caution. Interesting though that the anti-inflammatory arthrotec and 25 mg nortriptyline seemed to do the job before the injections!
I'm with Cindee on this one, firstly what type of Dr. dx you? People can have more than one type of arthritis at the same time, if you haven't already you need to see a Rheumatologist and get all new labs done. I take Enbrel for my disease ( AS), my last rheumy gave me a RX for Lyrica which I did not even bother filling, not interested in gaining weight thank you! If you've been on Mobic for a long time it is entirely possible your body is no longer responding to it.
well i posted the other day to say that in the morning i was going to go cold turkey. Things started off well, i got up and didn't take the 150mg morphine s/r tablets or the 300mg tramadol s/r tablets i useally take. I was suffering withdrawal symptoms but i was coping until about 3.30/4pm when i felt a bit rough and had to go and lay down.
Have you asked your Dr. abt. Arthrotec ? It is supposed to help out alot for people who can't take regular nsaids.
The Imodium has something in it that is suposed to help with the receptors in the stomach. It will help with the diareah too. If you have muscle rub then go for that, I use Voltaren gel alot for my arthritis. It does seem to help. Doesn't smell bad either. Epsom salts in the hot/warm bath water, soak awhile. Heating pads are wonderful too.
Hi all I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Is anybody taking iron tablets. Is it a must. I am not enjoying taking these tablets at all.
I'm on exactly the same as you 3 times a day. Before taking them I felt so faint every time I stood up it was horrible :/ must of been due to low iron and low blood pressure.
Not a nice time when you go to the toilet though!!!
