780647 tn?1304020942 I also see that a physician prescribed Arthrotec for you. Arthrotec is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people at high risk for developing stomach or intestinal ulcers. Both conditions can be extremely painful which explains the symptoms you are experiencing. Have you began the medication yet? It may take some time before you see the benefits. Some times NSAID's need to "build up" in your system before they are truly effective.
Avatar f tn I am going to see a specialist. My family doctor put me on arthrotec 75 mg. which does help with the pain. I can now move my arms without horrible pain. I am supposed to take it twice a day but it is unbelievable the cost of this stuff. Is that something they use for Fibro ? Any of this type medication has bad side effects.
Avatar m tn Ratings!!!! That is all any of it is for. Its all a ratings game and death and violence and negativity seem to get them....
Avatar n tn i have an undisplaced tibia fracture and the doctor prescribe arthrotec. i want to know could it slow down the healing process? is it necessary to use arthrotec?
Avatar f tn I cannot sleep longer than for 2 hours. I was given Tramadol and Arthrotec for the pain. I now take Arthrotec and paracetamol after suffering a vomiting fit. I am tired of waiting to receive an appointment to see the hospital neurosurgeon to whom I was referred. I was told to get an ambulance back to hospital immediately if I became incontinent or numb in that area. What does '...
393986 tn?1303825975 s group is crazy active, (like it is here) I did start a drug called Arthrotec and it ended up me being in the hospital with a GI bleed, go figure, finally find a combination that seemed to be working good... Grrr... I've been off treatment completely for about a month now and I am back in a flare... I'm going to have to start doing the injections, and I am a big chicken-s**t!!! But anyway, gotta go for now!!! I Miss You All!!!
1132307 tn?1357908608 I agree that you need to choose something that has high ratings for safety. After you see the ratings then you can see what fits into your budget. It also depends on what you think is going to fit your lifestyle the best. Some strollers are really light weight and goog for someone who is constantly in and out of the car. Others have different wheels, so do you want something that works with dirt/sand or are you only going to use it on pavement?
Avatar f tn what I found was all her ratings were below average... and I found another doctor in the next county over..a 40 min drive (same time frame as what we drive now) and all her ratings are beyond above average but my babys father says no....

1066572 tn?1296240001 LIke i said before, i would see whats in your price range and then check the safety ratings, Britax is an upper end brand with good safety ratings and Graco is a good middle of the road brand also with good safety ratings. Just figure out which carset your looking at and check the safety ratings on that model. What about strollers? Jogging ones? Travel ones? I've always LOVED travel systems.
Avatar f tn t see the SNL spoof on the VP debate last nite or the one on the congressional bailout hearings go to SNL NBC website and u will laugh ur butt off....HILARIOUS!We need the comic relief!
Avatar m tn ll take more injections with more caution. Interesting though that the anti-inflammatory arthrotec and 25 mg nortriptyline seemed to do the job before the injections!
Avatar n tn I have two good candidates to select from for a cataract surgeon. They both have websites and they seem to list preferences for lens replacement technologies. I was wondering if I should go to both doctors to see what they recommend and then do my selection - or if there was some other good approach for doing a selection? From my research on lens technology it seems like a Tecnis 1-piece lens might be a good choice - but only one of the doctor's websites list Tecnis lenses.
Avatar f tn t care as long as it is installed the right way. I have always done some research before I bought ours. Some have way better ratings then others. Some are easier to carry around and put in the car. It's really up to what you want.
Avatar f tn I'm with Cindee on this one, firstly what type of Dr. dx you? People can have more than one type of arthritis at the same time, if you haven't already you need to see a Rheumatologist and get all new labs done. I take Enbrel for my disease ( AS), my last rheumy gave me a RX for Lyrica which I did not even bother filling, not interested in gaining weight thank you! If you've been on Mobic for a long time it is entirely possible your body is no longer responding to it.
Avatar m tn i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. This has gone on for 5 years since i fell off the back of my old works truck. Oh & 2 lots of pills for high blood pressure.
Avatar f tn I have heard that dense breasts are harder to find things in , but I don't think that necessarily means there is anything there. Maybe they are SOOOO dense that they can't see anything, so they would have to assume that there could be something there, therefore the birad 4 category. They are very careful with those ratings, and making sure they don't miss things. You should try to ask your physician or the radiologist to clarify what it means. Good luck!
7358510 tn?1427032173 My insurance provides the Ameda double electric. Online it seems to have about the same ratings as Medela, but only this "hospital grade" model. If you're buying non "hospital grade" I've read the best ratings is Medela. Also, 3 co-workers gave birth in the last 6 months all went with Medela and loved theirs.
Avatar f tn Ameda and Medela have the best ratings across the board, hope that helps.
148588 tn?1465778809 It's strange because I've perceived an anti- Hillary theme at CNN. I believe that ratings and not politics drive CNN and whatever they feel will drive ratings is the way they'll go.
