Arthrotec for abortion

Common Questions and Answers about Arthrotec for abortion

arthrotec

Avatar f tn Arthrotec works well but is useless as most nsaids are during a R.A flare. If you are only having mild RA pain and just need something to keep it under control I highly reccomend trying Arthrotec. I am not a physician so of course speak to your RA Dr before using arthrotec dont want any issues with contradicting other meds you may be taking. Of course only you know what your pain level is and on major flare days only strong narcotics will help sometimes.
Avatar n tn This medicine is very dangerous for a fetus during pregnancy, it is also very dangerous for someone who has recently had bypass or other heart surgeries.
Avatar f tn From what it sounds like is maybe Fibromyalgia. Did you only get tested for RA? I've been tested for Lupus, RA, Lymes disease, B12 def. (which was low), Ect... If you have been tested for everything else, I would assume Fibro. Can you ask your Dr. for a referral to a specialist?
780647 tn?1304020942 I also see that a physician prescribed Arthrotec for you. Arthrotec is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people at high risk for developing stomach or intestinal ulcers. Both conditions can be extremely painful which explains the symptoms you are experiencing. Have you began the medication yet? It may take some time before you see the benefits. Some times NSAID's need to "build up" in your system before they are truly effective.
Avatar f tn Hi... I was diagnosed with ostearthritis & fibromyalgia a few years ago...and have been taking mobic since then, which has worked. About a month ago, the mobic didn't seem to be working as well.. my hands were hurting a lot at work... so I went back to my dr & he changed my medicine to relafen for the osteoarthritis & lyrica for the fibromyalgia. Although the lyrica seems to work, I'm not liking the side effects, puffy hands & feet & eye twitching...
Avatar n tn Hi, Thanks for writing in. The common risk factors for non union of humerus fracture are open fracture, highly comminuted fracture pattern, significant displacement of the fracture fragments, smoking, diabetes, NSAID’s, infection and hypothyroidism. In your case, smoking could have aided in non union of the fracture, but there is a need to rule out other causes as well.
Avatar f tn I cannot sleep longer than for 2 hours. I was given Tramadol and Arthrotec for the pain. I now take Arthrotec and paracetamol after suffering a vomiting fit. I am tired of waiting to receive an appointment to see the hospital neurosurgeon to whom I was referred. I was told to get an ambulance back to hospital immediately if I became incontinent or numb in that area. What does '...
184674 tn?1360860493 A lot of posts end up in the Maternal and Child forum (and probably other pregnancy forums) of women asking questions that concern their recovery after an abortion. I am completely against abortion, but oftentimes, I can't help but feel badly for some of these women who post asking for advise about their recovery, and it ends up with them getting attacked and accused by all the women who are offended that they got an abortion, because THEY are ttc, can't have children, miscarried, etc.
393986 tn?1303825975 ve been in a crazed writing frenzy of insanity! Literally! I am writing for an online paper, our local print paper, still trying to finish my book on Stills and now I am a freelance editor for a few authors who write paranormal, romance, sci-fi, fantasy fiction and many more. I get to read books before print, fix mistakes and get paid for it! Yeah, I am all over that like a fly on a sticky trap... hehehe But anyway, thats not why I'm here.
Avatar m tn My question, already posted in part, is: is there any downside to steroidal injections which I am told may be up to 4 times a year. I have stopped, cold turkey, taking dilaudid which I have been on for over 4 years. (Resection in 2006 and ACD&F's (2) in 2008 (C5,6 and C6,7), Problem is, not ony am I concerned about the down side (everyone talks about rebound effect from Cortisone) but I am ideating about ending it all, I am so tired of being in pain.
513154 tn?1340225289 I have a question about Osteoarthritis and the pain that comes with it. Last November I had 5, 6, and 7 upper vertebra fused together and feel so much better in that way BUT i can't take anti inflammatory medications for my Osteoarthritis, Tylenol doesn't even help a bit and non of the arthritis over the counter meds help either. My question is... is there a non narcotic pain medication that I can take every day? I am 45 years old and very healthy besides my arthritis. thank you!
Avatar f tn I was 17 when I had my first. Who is now 13. I did marry his father also when I was 17 however divorced before my son was 1. The man may as well never been there. Because he wasn't there for me all all during my pregnancy. I was pushed to get an abortion too, by everyone, but it's against my beliefs 100%. I was no where near ready for a baby at 17. But I wouldn't change it for the world. I did it on my own (his sperm donor hasn't been in the picture since he was 1).
Avatar m tn i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. This has gone on for 5 years since i fell off the back of my old works truck. Oh & 2 lots of pills for high blood pressure.
Avatar f tn freaking out and taking into consideration i wanted to make sure i was around for my kids we decided that an abortion was the logical and right decision for us(please dont be judgemental, i am still going thru emotional turmoil because of it) so i had the procedure done and it was horrible and said i never want to do that again. I am 1 month to my tubal and although we have been using the birth control patch and condoms i find myself pregnant again.
Avatar f tn Bc once he does you can get child support and he will NEVER have visitation Or any rights ever!! An abortion for another person is never the right choice. And would you honestly want a **** head like him BACK in your life? I certainly hope not.
Avatar n tn Thank you so much for your concern and advice. I moved to a new city where I don't know anyone except for my sister who is over an hour's drive away (but thank God for her, still). I am unable to find a doctor who is accepting new patients, so I would have no choice but to go to the ER - and wait forever.
Avatar f tn My doctor gave me Provera (the 10 day pill that induces a period) for my irregular periods a while back, but they have been regular for 5 or 6 months now and I never had to take it. I'm having a lot of pregnancy symptoms and I am a few days late for my period. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet, but I need to know my options before I have to start freaking out. I want to know if the Provera will induce my period and act as an abortion. There is no way I can afford an abortion.
Avatar f tn I had a dnc after I miscarried which is basically the same procedure as an abortion an spotted for at least a couple months on an off ..are u on a birth control now ?? U need to be ..if you have started one recently this could also be the cause of the spotting ...
Avatar f tn I have been feeling pretty rotton for a few months. Really draged out, sleeping a lot some nights, even into the afternoon, but not sleeping other night. I've had a lot of sinus pressure and a cough off and on. Sometimes a get that weird feeling just before you get a colf or flu, not really an ache in the body, but almost like your skin is sensitive and... oh i dont know how to explain that feeling. I guess it is achy and jumpy.
Avatar f tn Have you asked your Dr. abt. Arthrotec ? It is supposed to help out alot for people who can't take regular nsaids. The Imodium has something in it that is suposed to help with the receptors in the stomach. It will help with the diareah too. If you have muscle rub then go for that, I use Voltaren gel alot for my arthritis. It does seem to help. Doesn't smell bad either. Epsom salts in the hot/warm bath water, soak awhile. Heating pads are wonderful too.
Avatar f tn I agree that you should go back to the doc...after my abortion three yrs ago, i bled heavy clots for a lil bit, then my period came so i bled longer and had more clots... i was 11 weeks so since i didnt have a period really i got confused when it was due..so when i thought i was bleeding more then usual it was actually my period, i bled for about two weeks and spotting a lil more after that .... even my next period the following month was kind of clotty.. but thats my story...
