Avatar f tn I like Shakai Unscented Borage Lotion for my body and Argan oil for my face. Pure Aloe Vera Gel and you can also try pure coco butter since you seem to like it. I've tried Jojoba oil, but it didn't work for me personally. You might also want to consider increasing your intake of foods rich in Vitamin C, E, A and Fish if you don't already do that (I don't eat fish, but take fish oil). Avatar m tn After exfoliating, lightly cover the area where you want to shave with a unprocessed shea butter or argan oil. Instead of using a water based shaving gel, oil lubricates the hair shaft and allows the hairs to move forward thus preventing in-grown hairs. These oils also nourish the skin with Vitamin D and fatty acids.

They can cause a reaction known as reactive seborrhoea, where the oil glands work overtime to compensate for the loss of natural oils.
