I've been taking synthroid for the last six months since being diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I take synthroid in the morning and some vitamin supplements before I go to sleep. I started the vitamin supplements a month ago and have noticed some of my thyroid symptoms coming back (i.e., major sleep problems, loss of hair.....) Could the synthroid and supplements interact with each other somehow even though I take them 8-10 hours apart from each other?

For the last six months I keep getting some sort of infection on my ring finger where my wedding bands are. It is a ring all the way around my finger that is red in color, itchy, sometimes there are clear fluid filled blisters, and then when it starts to heal it becomes dry and peels. I was told by my jeweler that it was a fungus and to put rubbing alcohol on it several times a day. That works but it keeps coming back and I am cleaning my rings regularly.

My wedding rings are hand me downs. They're the rings my grandfather (who passed away from cancer almost six years ago) proposed to/married my grandmother with. But, I have thought about having hubby get me a set on down the road so I can pass them down.

lol...only problem with that is that things shrink in the cold...they don't swell! think about how your rings fit in the summer time...when it's really hot out, and so are you, your fingers will swell making your rings fit tighter. but the adverse is true in the winter...when your hands are cold, your rings become loose. make sense?

Go to a jeweler to help see if they can assist. I used to work in jewelry and for the most part they are not allowed to cut off rings anymore for liability reasons (at least chain stores won't, private jewelers might) you have to go to the hospital to have it done.
