The doctor felt my stomach and also doesn't think it is appendicitis. I just don't know why I am still getting these pains, and can they be from a UTI and BV? Also I have oral thrush from the antibiotics and have had it for about 1 week. I am treating with coconut oil, corsodyl mouthwash and also natural yoghurt. However it does not seem to be clearing..

I have been having this HORRIBLE dull pain on my lower side which Dr's on tuesday brushed it off as round ligament pain, I've been suffering with it for a few days now specially when I get up too fast. Its HORRIBLE. I'm 19 weeks. However, it could also be something more serious like appendicitis, so i'd get a second opinion, they should have given you a u/s at the emergency room to rule out appendicitis or kidney stone or something serious like that.

Reflux disease, appendicitis, PID, kidney stones, twisted ovarian cyst are few common causes of abdominal pain. Your elevated WBC is usually indicative of an infection or at the very least an inflammation in your system depending on how elevated. I am now worried I could have PID, although I have been tested for Chlamydia in the past and it's always negative. I am just really unsure of what is going on...I am on my fourth day of Doxy and I do feel SOME better, but not healed. Does this take time? I am on a 7day course.

This set of symptoms doesn't seem to be the type one can afford to ignore. Pls see a doc/urgent care right away. Hope you'll write again to let us know how you're doing.
Avatar m tn It hurts to walk and I must sit down with great care, I have performed some of the tests for appendicitis such as lying supine with my right leg bent and pushing over to the left...this results in much pain. Having been an EMT for many years I understand this could be appendicitis, however, I am confused about the pain free lapses. I live in the middle of no where with poor hospitals about 2 and a half hours away.

Avatar n tn When I had appendecitis I woke up in pain with a lot of abdominal pressure and was admitted for surgery that day. It felt like I was really constipated or something (sorry TMI), and was nauseous. It sounds like the pain you are having is more likely related to the pcos. I have had ovarian cysts in the past and it felt a lot like what you are describing. I'm not an expert, just my personal experience.

Before my period and after my period I have had pain in my lower right side in my pelvic area. During my periods I have horrendous cramps that basically leave me debilitated. I will have diarrhea but the pain feels like intense constipation. I will get shooting pains up my anus and vagina when sit down on the toilet and try to "go".
