Avatar m tn I also have headaches and have gotten easily hot and overheated during the night. I know im not pregnant because ive testes and JUST came off my period and it was normal. Could this be my apendix? UTI? I had a UTI about 2 months ago could i have another? Oh and i feel like i have trappe gas and it travels all over my stomach.
Avatar f tn So you don't think it could be a first trimester pregnancy pain. I know I'm pregnant I've already been to the doctor I just figured it was my body adjusting.
Avatar f tn Might have to go to the emergency room is this something u had before i don't know much about the appendicitis but the symptoms are pretty similar to pregnancy symptoms but with u being so far I'm not sure about the vomiting part I never threw up with any of mine maybe just call the doctor key him know your concerns and see what they suggest
Avatar f tn We get so many aches, pains, pulls and tugs during pregnancy, but rarely are they bad enough to keep you bedridden. Chances are it's nothing to harm you or the baby, and just very unpleasant, but I would still keep telling them. I wonder too if you are not just having a bad time of round ligament pain. It's usually just uncomfortable, but I have heard of some women having a really rough time with it. It is most commonly felt on the right side as well.

Avatar f tn Exactly 4 weeks later I developed appendicitis and had it removed via laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon said it was "messy in there". I have had no other symptoms suggestive of HIV. My concern is the appendicitis was due to lymphoid hyperplasia (swollen lymph tissue) caused from a viral infection (HIV) given it occurred so soon after exposure. It seems a bit out there to consider them related however I do see it as a possibility, but was unable to find any studies to confirm.
Avatar m tn The only way to know for sure what is wrong is to go to the doctor and have an MRI or CT scan. That will give them a better idea of what is going on. No one can know for sure what is going on, but that will give them a better idea.
671285 tn?1292660161 Hi. I was lucky to get an appiontment with the doctor after I had made this scary post on the forum. After a thorough examination it turns out that I severely pulled a stomach muscle while moving into our new place. So, I have been given some pain medication to use incase the pain worsens. Right now, with a little rest and relaxation, I've been feeling much better. And I haven't even used the medicine yet.
Avatar n tn I have had my gallbladder removed lapo 2 weeks ago… I’m NOW expercing this sharp pain on my right lower abdominal area by my belly button, what are my chances of having appendicitis after gall bladder surgery? I want to avoid the ER, doctors and GI’s I went through so many test and so many trips to the ER during the period of 3 months to finally find out my gall bladder was only functioning at 1.
Avatar f tn pain in the right of my belly, which migrated in the LRQ after about 2 weeks, bloating, pain in the right side during bowel movements, right leg gets a little numb sometimes. Did a CT scan 1 month ago, it revealed an ovarian cyst of 3.5 cm on my right and a 5 cm one on my left. The pain on my right is persistent and the symptoms are really bad for such a small cyst. My gynecologist didn't give me many explanations, so I've searched for my simptoms online.
1552748 tn?1294211776 Good news is that during pregnancy your organs tend to move up, including your appendix, so that may not be your problem. Many women have lower stomach pain during pregnancy and it could be due to many things. Usually it's just the baby's position. At 27 week, baby is starting to run out of room already! I do hope you are able to figure out the cause of the pain and rule out anything serious.
Avatar f tn I have had the same discharge during my entire pregnancy, my doc says that I am clean and no infection. I am now 28 weeks and still have the same discharge. Sometimes it even smells horrible but the doc checked it and nothing seems like an infection.
Avatar n tn I had to have my gallbladder out, but they ignored my symptoms. I had it out 6 weeks after my son was born. If it's life threatening, they will probably try to remove it, but if it's appendicitis, they might wait until you've had bub to have it out.
Avatar f tn The pain feels like it is deep in my stomach and it is constant, I am very bloated and burp all the time. It is worse during the morning and night. I have no appetite because I feel so full all the time. It is almost as if there is a huge brick in my stomach. I have been trying to eat as much as I can everyday and when I do eat, it seems like the pain lightens up during a meal. However, a couple of hours before I eat and even a couple of hours after the pain becomes more intense.
Avatar f tn I think quick sharp pains are normal during pregnancy. If it is sharp and persistent with ultimate bleeding, you need to go to A&E. I too get these menstrual cramps on and off during the day and the occassional sharp pain but it is very quick and ends as soon as it starts basically. Keep and eye on it and do try to do some mild stretching and drinking enough water. All the best, hope the wait is not too long now.
Avatar m tn Also, if at the end of the pack you do in fact get your period totally normal (or slightly heavier flow). Note, there was no unprotected sex and no ejaculation during intercourse. Is there any chance of being pregnant? If the next normal period is to come on time as usual, is there anything to worry about?
Avatar f tn If you’re female, a pelvic exam will be done to determine the exact location of your pain and to rule out PID, ovarian cyst, or an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy outside of the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube.) Complications The most serious complication of appendicitis is an infection of the lining of your abdominal cavity, this is called peritonitis. Peritonitis is a medical emergency!!!
Avatar f tn Monitor your syptoms cause nausea, back pain, pain on right side and bloating r also symptoms of appendicitis. I had appendicitis while i was pregnant so didn't notice the symptoms of appendicitis cause i just thought it was pregnacy symptoms.if pain gets worse or you get fever go to doctor.
Avatar n tn You are correct that this is not an acute appendicitis, but there is a possibility that this is a chronic appendicitis. This is almost surely not an ulcer of the rectum as you don't have any of the same symptoms.
684604 tn?1293477726 There are more and more studies coming out showing the benefits of exercising during pregnancy. A good rule of thumb is that you can continue to do what ever you were in condition to do pre-pregnancy. I always encourage my patients to continue anything that is non-contact--in your list above the only thing I would object to is the softball--and that is just because of the possibility of abdominal trauma.
20922415 tn?1661860103 During the reproductive years, the pituitary gland in the brain generates hormones (follicle-stimulating hormone [FSH] and luteinizing hormone [LH]) that cause a new egg to mature and be released from its ovarian follicle each month. As the follicle develops, it produces the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone, which thicken the lining of the uterus called the endometrium.
361454 tn?1312054856 I recently was pregnant and started getting odd cramping sensations that I had never felt before, it ended up being appendicitis, I miscarried I think due to appendicitis, and just had an emergency appendectomy. I'd say follow your gut (no pun intended) For me the "sensations" did not feel "right". When in doubt go to the ER. If I would have, it's possible I could have saved my pregnancy-also possible that it was doomed from the beginning.
