I have this pain in the lower right region of my abdomen, Its not a pain in which I cannot walk but there is a pain there. I went to get blood work done because my cousin which is a Doctor wanted to rule out an appendicitis. The WBC count came back at 10.1 where the normal range for that laboratory I believe was from 5 to 10. My cousin said that is not significant enough to point towards appendicitis. My lymphocte percentage was low at 20.3 percent, and my mean platelet volume was also low 6.8.
I just expierienced some intense pain on the lower left side of my back about where my kidney would be, it just happened suddenly and it hurt so bad that i couldnt move. I also felt like I was going to throw up right after it hit. it only lasted about 10 minutes or so and i decided to look it up because i thought it could be appendicitis. any ideas what it could be? if so, what actions should i take?
Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right. Recently I had diarrhea for three days straight and then feeling constipated. I would sit in the bathroom for an hour or two straining to push the stool out but nothing comes out. Before that, my bowel movement was fine.
A year or so later I was given a capsule endoscopy and they thought they saw something in the photos it took so I was referred to a doctor to do a double balloon enteroscopy retrograde. Unfortunately this too came back normal and afterwards I had moderate lower right side abdominal pain.
It seems to move around, from the appendix area to the groin, and wraps around to the back and kidney area. As well, a mix of constipation and then diahrrea. I'm really quite terrified of it being appendicitis or worse yet, peritonitis. I have seen two health professionals, one at a clinic and the other in the emergency room, both of them saying its nothing, perhaps just a pulled or strained muscle. Like said, I'm scared, and I would like some sort of reassurance or advice.
when he means redness at the opening, he is saying basicly stoll can get stuck at the opening of the apendics causeing inflamation and then the stoll may release, and not harm the apendics anymore, its vary difficult to diagnose problems like that, the best thing to do is if your having alot of pain there and you cant walk, lay on your back and have someone hit the base of your foot and if you get pain in your stomach from that, there is a good chance you have appendicitis, but you would get rea
Last night, right after work, I started having severe pain in my lower back/right side. I had a terrible time sleeping (cold not get comfortable in any position...hurt worse to lay on my left side than on my right...lying on the left cause my right side to hurt worse.) and woke at 2am in severe pain. My husband gave me 2 advil PM and it eased the pain enough to allow me to sleep in a propped up position. the pain is not nearly as intense, but is still there all day today.
Lower right abdominal pain along with a tight, bloated abdomen is a symptom of appendicitis. Please go see your doctor as soon as possible!
Went off Pentasa for a few days in Dec and had severe RLQ pain and right hand pain. Got better after a week back on Pentasa. Had another colonoscopy-essentially negative in late Jan. I continue to have burning pain in my rectum and RLQ and right hand, general fatigue. Stress makes it worse. Do I have crohn's, lupus, what????
This past Sunday, I was sent home from the ER with a diagnosis of early appendicitis. I'd been suffering from a fever, lower/midline abdominal pain on my right side, and severe diarrhea for several days, and was told by my doctor to go to the ER to rule out appendicitis. Besides my signs/symptoms, the only abnormal finding was a slightly enlarged appendix in the ultrasound and CT.
There are various causes of right lower quadrant abdominal pain, including but not limited to appendicitis, IBS/IBD, kidney/ureteral stone, bladder infection, and hernia, as well as female-specific conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, ovarian cyst, ovarian torsion, and ectopic pregnancy. Making the correct diagnosis requires a combination of clinical history and physical examination, as well as laboratory and imaging tests.
I slept like around midnight, and since then I have been waking up a few times with the pain still there. My right leg started hurting but the pain is not that severe, and my right lower back is also in pain. I woke up at 7 a.m this morning and the pain is still there. I do not feel like vomiting or nauseous, and neither have I lost my appetite. I have been with this pain for about 10 hours now, would I happen to be presenting signs of appendicitis?
If you took plan B on the last day of your period and that was 12/25 then I would say that you are having side effects of the plan B pill itself. Several other members have reported severe, painful cramps around the ovaries and lower abdomen, back cramps, and you will probably start a "period" again in a few days. That is usually a side effect also. An appendix is usually on the right side of your stomach and you will usually run a high fever with appendicitis.
Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

Now my right side was started to hurt, super tender to the touch, my stools were small and had taken on an orange brownish color. My energy was diminished and my right shoulder and back were very soar as well. I went back to an urgent care facility, my primary care provider was in another state and three weeks for a new doctor was to long. The only difference in my condition now was so some constipation according to the doctor, once again urine and blood tests looked good.
I spent 5 days in the hospital in January because of a ruptured right ovarian cyst. They thought appendicitis and found the cyst after a colonoscopy. This month my period was 3 weeks late. I recently finished it. I had my tubes tied in November. I have a history of 2 ectopic pregnancies. Never had other female problems like cysts. For the past 3 weeks I've had left lower abdominal pain and burning in the rest of my abdomen. I have no bowel problems.
This morning I woke up with a pain in my lower right abdomen. Its a constant dull pain, about a 4 or 5 on the 1-10 scale. The main pain is about directly 2-3inches to the left of my ASIS. It feels a little bit better when I'm sitting up instead of laying down. I have been going to the bathroom alot more than normal, but the stool is pretty normal, not diarhea.
