appendicitis and hip pain

went to the dr, saw a PA who pushed on my stomach area and i had no pain, now that i'm home there is pain next to my hip bone on the right side and a slight pain in my upper right abdomen, what the heck is this?

It has been four days, the aching has ceased a bit, the fever comes and goes. But what really has me worried is this unusual very intense pain in my lower back towards the right side extending to my hip and surrounding areas. Could it be kidney problems?

I have recently been experiencing right side pain and mentioned it to my GP. He sent me for a CT which confirmed mild appendicitis. Don't have typical appendicitis symptoms other than pain and some nausea. My doc says to get it taken out. I went for a consult with a general surgeon and he said he isn't 100% that's my appendix since I don't have all the acute symptoms. He said there is no such thing as chronic appendicitis and my doc says "oh yes there is". UGH...

Having mild pain in my belly fat, between my belly button and my hip bone. The pain was in my side between my right hip and rib. What could be causing this?

For the past few days I've had pain right above my hip but its not severe and i don't have any other symptoms but I'm very scared right now because i think i have appendicitis i don't want surgery...my mom who is a nurse said that it cannot be that because the pain i describe isn't severe and that i should lay off the coffee that i drink.

My right leg started hurting/be mumbish, m right hip and my right lower back is also in pain. I have not vomited or had diarrhea nor do I have a fever. Do I have appendicitis or is it just gas?

The pain feels very similar to muscle soreness, but I can feel the pain even more when I press or squeeze the area around the top of my right hip bone. The pain comes and goes, and I think may be related to a build up of stool, as I may wait days before having a bowel movement and the pain starts to develop, and it gradually eases after a few bowel movements.

We followed with additional blood work to rule out colitis, ulcer, crones, etc., and tried some Nexium. 1 week later, her pain moved about 3 inches to the right and down an inch. Looks like appendicitis to me. Dr sent us for another sonogram. Nothing. This past week we were back in the ER as her pain was severe - we tried a different ER. More blood work, and a CT scan. Everything was normal. She is now upstairs crying in pain - she says it's just about a 10 on a scale of 1-10.

Today I laid on myback and relaxed my abdomenal area and pressed the area that hurt and a pain shot towards my right side of my chest and down towards my rectum.

I have tried moving my body pillow and blankets to position myself more comfortably... but can still feel it. when he means redness at the opening, he is saying basicly stoll can get stuck at the opening of the apendics causeing inflamation and then the stoll may release, and not harm the apendics anymore, its vary difficult to diagnose problems like that, the best thing to do is if your having alot of pain there and you cant walk, lay on your back and have someone hit the base of your foot and if you get pain in your stomach from that, there is a good chance you have appendicitis, but you would get rea

i am a 37 year old woman and i have a nagging pain in my right side between the rib and hip..the pain goes out in to my stomache and in my back..I have a whithe discharge with a funny smell and i also have kidney stones but i am afraid it may be my appendics..

I was actually amazed at how quickly I recovered. But as of last night I started to have some pain in my lower abdoman surrounding the bellybutton. What, if any complications could I be having this long after surgery? I am not running a fever. Just pain, mostly when I bend over or if I have been sitting for a while.

I am treating with coconut oil, corsodyl mouthwash and also natural yoghurt. However it does not seem to be clearing.. And yes, I have also considered the possibilty of an ovarian cyst, because I have matching symptoms and it feels more likely. It is in the same general area and, initially, the pain started in my hip/pelvic before moving to my side.

Round ligament pain possibly. I had the same thing with my first. Thought it might be appendicitis since it's in the same area (lower right abdomen). My doctor did an ultrasound and everything looked normal so they just chalked it up to round ligament pain.

The pain is usually in the right side, mid-way between my bellybutton and my hip. At times the pain is sharp and stabbing and causes me to double over in pain - I would give it a 7 out of 10 for intensity. Other times the pain on my right side is dull and aching, and sometimes this is replaced with a burning sensation. Well actually in April I had pain and achyness in my pelvic and vaginal area and the ER did a vaginal ultrasound and pelvic ultrasound. All they found was a very small amount of fluid in my pelvis. She said that a cyst probably bursted and the body has a way of naturally absorbing the fluid. She told me it was very common to get a cyst every month around period time and it popping. Then from April to June i had a severe bouts of not being able to have bowel movements.

s not really a cancer test, but is a cancer marker for Ovarian Cancer and if your pain is near your hip, and because this form of Cancer is called the Silent Cancer, the only test that may INDICATE, you may have it. It can't hurt, and if the level is low, you should be OK. But I am no doctor, only a long term chronic pain patient speaking from my own experience. Also do you have knee problems?
