30 am with bad stomach pain (top middle), bloating, and gas. I went the the ER about 6 hours later and received indigestion meds. I felt much better outside of mild abdominal discomfort from gas still. Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

t aware that laying on their right side can cause gas to build up in your colon and form a gas bubble. The way the colon is shaped and with the gas rising upward, when laying on the right side it gets trapped in the ascending and transverse sections of the colon and is not as easily expelled as it is when laying on the left side.
I recommend trying some OTC treatments like beano, gas X, prilosec, prevacid, Mylanta, mylox etc. for a few days.
He described abdominal pain that sounded like it could be gas or early appendicitis. I told him to take Gas-Ex and lie down. When I got home, he still had the pain, even lying down. I pressed on his abdomen and he had more pain. Didn't really know what I was doing, but just gently pressed around and he moaned. The pain had moved from his umbilicus to more in the right lower quadrant.
For the past few days I've had pain right above my hip but its not severe and i don't have any other symptoms but I'm very scared right now because i think i have appendicitis i don't want surgery...my mom who is a nurse said that it cannot be that because the pain i describe isn't severe and that i should lay off the coffee that i drink.

I've been having a sharp to dull pain on my lower to upper abdomen for the past three days. The pain radiates from my belly button to the left side of my abdomen than back to my ride upper and lower abdomen. I've also been experiencing a gurgling stomach, excess gas and loose stool.
Can be appendicitis. Go see a doctor asap.
I suggest that you go quickly to your Emergency/accident department and ask them either to rule out appendicitis - or else confirm it and carry out the necessary operation.
I am feeling better, however, still have the lower abdominal pain. It comes and goes. It is worst in the afternoon/evening and is usually accompanied with rumbling/stomach noise. My stools are also dry. I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day so am definitely no dehydrated.
I've been researching online and think it could be IBS. Does this sound possible based on the continuing pain? Or could the pain from the previous virus I had STILL be present after all this time?
About 11:30, my lower right abdomen started sharp, long lasting pains. Almost like labor. I took two Aleve and no relief. About 2:30 i took two more and was finally able to doze some starting at 3:00. Mow it is 6:00 and I'm still in have pain. My right leg started hurting/be mumbish, m right hip and my right lower back is also in pain. I have not vomited or had diarrhea nor do I have a fever. Do I have appendicitis or is it just gas?
ve looked into appendicitis symptoms and wondered if I should be seen soon, or only if the pain returns?
The other symptoms for Appendicitis are fever, nausea, vomiting and malaise. The other causes for pain could be urinary tract infection, pelvic infections, renal colic and sometimes bowel infections. So, please consult your primary care physician and if you cannot reach him soon enough go to the concerned hospitals emergency. Regards.
I've had a lot of stress and anxiety for 5 years now (I'm a teen) so I'm not that surprised when my intestines are doing weird stuff like roughly shifting my food around, giving me either constipation or diarrhea, waking me up in the morning because I need to go to the bathroom...
But this evening I started having pain on the right side of my belly, a little higher than my bone but still pretty low.
ve been passing gas a bit which relieves me a bit but the achy pain is still there. I went to my doctor today and she pressed everywhere on my stomach and it didn't hurt (the rebound thing)
Should I go to the doctors again or rest it if it's a pulled ab muscle? I haven't experienced any other symptoms of appendicitis but I'm still freaking out over it so much that I just want to get it removed.
Well 2 years ago I had an appendicitis and i was operated to take it off.. Before that I rearly had any gas problems, but now after my operation, I started getting filled with gas.. Uptill the last month or so it was normal but now, i wake up bloated full of air, and sometimes i get sharp pains in my sides, i drink water (not exagerated but i drink), and i remain like this throughout all the day.. I went to the doctor and he gave me something to get rid of the gas ill have..
s causing cramps. It could be gas and/or constipation, in which case the only thing for relief is to work the gas out by moving or having a bm. It could be false or early labor. If you've seriously been in pain for 8 hours and it's so severe you can't move than its probably time to go to the ER and get checked out.
My concern is he still having low grade fever and lower right quad pain ( increased pain with eating and some activitys) My question is should the appendix be removed due to potential appendicitis in the future due to blockage causing inflam. and infection or can this resolve on it's own. My research shows majority of these stones end up causing appendicitis eventually.
I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy today and they came back normal. I have no desire to eat only 1 meal per day and I have been vomitting up the food when I eat it. The pain does not go away. It is a dull pain. I have had my gallbladder out for years. The docto said he was going to run another test.
Round ligament pain or gas. I actually had them check for appendicitis for me in my first pregnancy as well because it hurt but as long as they say baby is looking healthy, it sounds pretty normal!
I have had acid reflux for about three years now and i have felt a lot of stomach pain but nothing like this. I do take ranitidine and protonix twice a day, and sometimes I do get bad flare ups but this just does not seem normal to me. The pain is NOT so intense that it keeps me up at night but it is intense enough for me to not enjoy anything at all. I really want to go to the emergency room. I am a teen without a license so I can't drive myself.
