I did the 24 urine test many times to determine my cortisol levels. Being an average test, it does tell you if you fall in the "normal" but it cannot tell you if you fall outside the normal range (either high or low) during that time.
I would also like to say that one test is not or should not be diagnostic. I am not a doctor but a patient and my tests vary quite a bit - so you have to have a few to really see where you are over time to see how you are.
Hello I work in a drug testing facility with high amount of needle drug users. Yesterday a client handed me there bottle they wiggled there hand and I believe some urine hit the corner near my nose by my left eye not sure if any went in but let's say it did or there any chances of catching Hiv?
s paranoia or just worth getting retested (although my anxiety was bad during first time of testing).

Went to doc this past friday, Sept 6th, incident happened on Aug 29th, Doc said urine dip stick test was normal. He sent urine of to test for Gon/ Chlamydia and urine culture. That also was neg and no bacterial growth in urine. Was that too early to test ( 8 days after exposure)? Can I put this behind me?

My question before she took blood from arm she to blow her nose at least twice i think she washed her hands and chanced gloves each time if any of her nose mucus (snot) was on her hands or glove could she transfer hiv to me if she was hiv+ when she took my blood it took her at least three four times to get blood and tried two veins so

I have had some extreme anxiety (even after these tests) and my body feels like it may have some early hiv symptoms (weird feelings in my inner elbow and groin which I fear might be lymph node reaction). I just took another HIV antibody test again (at 39 days) and result was negative. Was the HIV DNA by PCR conclusive at 20.9 days? I hope I am just imagining these things!!

Today I used a public toilet and I was squatting on the toilet seat, and as I peed some pee hit the toilet seat and splashed back on me. The seat was already wet before me so it had someone else’s urine beforehand. That urine also splashed on my thigh. If it contained blood, also as blood in urine is not always visible and it can still be present, am I at any risk?? My question is, what if bloody urine splashes on to your skin??

Just to update, several weeks have passed and the tingling/itching has mostly gone but my anxiety remains. I started getting a dull pain in my testicles and this anxiety caused me to get tested again - now 3 weeks after exposure. The test included blood, urine and swap from both the uretha and the throat. My results were:
HIV I & II Antibody + HIV 1 p24 Ag = Neg(0.164)
Hep B Surface Antigen = Neg(0.546)
Hep C Virus Antibody (HCV) = Neg(0.

Had frequent but clear urination the rest of the night but I could not sleep. It was partly due to anxiety and partly because I had to keep urinating. I have been drinking a lot of water since then. I also got a laxative and went twice last night and it was a lot that came out. That seemed to relieve some of the urination urge. I felt like I had taken a load off of my pelvis. Last night I drank a little less water toward bed time. Had a full night sleep without getting up to go.
I had a urinalysis on the 27th and I was told that my scores were great and there was nothing wrong and they sent my urine in for gonorrhea, clamydia, and infection tests. I was told that if I did not receive a call in a week that I should be cleared. I haven't received a call so I was feeling much better.

I am a 33 year old married male who recently made a terrible mistake and had an unprotected encounter with a woman who I know is very promiscuous. The encounter happened about a week and a half ago and she claims that she doesn't have anything and normally uses a condomn. She performed oral for less than 2 minutes and there was 1 to 2 minutes of vaginal. 5 days after the encounter I got tested by urine sample through a confidetial testing service that uses labcorp.
Frequent urine is actually a symptom of anxiety, and also the medz u were taking can increase in anxiety symptoms so that could've been the problem. When I'm feeling anxious I use the bathroom alot.
You MAY be suffering from some mild anxiety due to the miscarriage, and it would be absolutely normal for you to be feeling very sad, even grieving for the loss of your baby, but my main concern is if you've been checked for an infection.
None of the symptoms you've told us about are classic for anxiety, but all could be related to an infection.
Did you have a D&C after the miscarriage?
I would urge you to see the doctor and rule out the possibility of infection.
On the second day i have burning in my tips of my penis and the urge to go urine. I went straight to doctor and she prescribe me ciproflaxacin to be taken for ten days. The burning subside and less frequent in urine. However after stopped taking the medicine i still feel the burning on and off. I feel really guilty and am really sorry for my action this incident taught me a great lesson.I been checking my penis every single time of the day.
