Avatar m tn As you know, both anxiety and depression can be symptoms of hypo, so if you just treat the symptoms, the root cause is still there. As I said, your FT4 is definitely very low. Most of us would have hypo symptoms with levels considerably higher. Your FT4 level is only 0.7 on 75 mcg of levo, so it would seem your thyroid is producing very little. Your TSH is high, which helps to confirm that you are hypo. However, what we don't know is what your FT3 is doing.

Avatar n tn Hello, Allergic rhinitis can be one of the causes of night sweats but many other causes are also there. Anxiety and stress are also important causes of night sweats. Infections like sinusitis, pharyngitis, or other upper respiratory infections are an important cause of night sweats. Other than that perimenopausal women often experience night sweats.
Avatar n tn Hi, There is a possibility that it could be because of excess thyroid medication as rightly mentioned. Apart from that is your mother unduly anxious? Excessive anxiety can also cause these symptoms. Certain food products and drinks can also excessive sweating. I think it will be a good idea to check the diet that she is currently on, she can maybe stop it for a few days and eat normally and see if it makes a difference. Good luck!

I was having extreme anxiety, high blood pressure, sweating, tremors, shaking, etc. They had me stop the celexa. My doctor had me start Zoloft. I have been on it for six days and some of the same symptoms are starting again plus muscle tightness in the chest and throat. She told me to stop the zoloft. I asked if I should titrate it, but I was told to just stop it.
