As conversion is part of stress----- the talk therapy part is key. But yes, she will likely need some meds. There are specific types of ovarian cancer that are more often found in children and adolescents that are different from those found in older women. In children and young girls ovarian cancer usually presents as an ovarian mass and typically they only report pain if the ovary twists and its blood supply is cut off.
So, ovarian cancer in young people is overall uncommon, but definitely occurs. Your symptoms would be atypical.
Lexapro is mainly used to treat major depression in adolescents and anxiety in adults. Zoloft has wider applications in post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, anxiety, and depression.
Luvox, Lexapro and Zoloft are all antidepressants and are known as serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). All three are longer acting SSRIs, but have different half lives, different pharmacokinetics etc so can show difference in side effects and withdrawal symptoms.

My advice to you is to seek out a psychologist who can start some therapy with you. The more you learn about anxiety, and discover coping mechanisms, the better equipped you will be to deal with it. I have been vomitting with no pain or any other symptoms for the last 5-6 months. This started happening after my spouce and I split up after a long relationship so I figured it was stress induced. My 15.6 year old son recently had his TSH, T4, T3 and antibodies measured along with an X-ray taken of his left hand to determine his bone age. The reason for the tests were no linear growth or weight gain in last 6 months. His symptoms are anxiety, fatigue & vision changes w/ blurring. The Labs reference ranges for our labs normal TSH are .34-5.60 His results were:
TSH - 5.04
T4 - 0.84
T3 - don't have that result yet
Antibodies - still waiting on that too
Bone age - 14.
