640838 tn?1377454398 Im the same i some ways as certain music changes my moods but I also use music to calm me and manage anxiety - music can be very useful for relaxation therapy. I dont have the extreme reaction you get to loud music thank god as I am a serious iron maiden nut :) But nothing is better for calming me than classical, beethoven, mozart, bach and stravinsky seem to be perfect for times I am stressed.
Avatar f tn I've become absolutly engrossed in music In my last 5 months clean. But it doesn't make me think of my pills. Some songs make me feel guilt of the things i had done, some caused grief in the things I've missed out on,some cause love because they remind me of my husband, some cause sadness because they remind me of someone I lost but didn't have the emotions at the time to grieve for them because I was high. The music makes me hate the pills more but never love them.

Avatar f tn I’ve been having intrusive music in my head. I do have OCD and anxiety and this symptom started a few months ago. it’s whenever my minds isn’t concentrating on something the song starts playing without me realizing and it’s so frustrating.
Avatar f tn The good news is, there are a lot of treatments out there for anxiety...relief comes, it just takes time, work and patience on our part. There really isn't a "magical cure" per se, but learning how to cope is possible with therapy, and there are a lot of different meds that have helped countless people control their symptoms. You're stuck in the anxiety cycle, where your anxiety triggers scary thoughts and fears, which of course then triggers more anxious feelings.

341903 tn?1225388712 Anxiety in and of itself is quite painless. What anxiety can cause OUR MINDS to make our bodies feel is another story. We can not tell you what meds you should take or even if you should take any. You need to see your doctor about the pain you are having and let him/her rule out a physical cause for it. Then you can discuss dealing with the anxiety.
Avatar n tn m really trying to be logical here and not let my anxiety kick my ***. I do listening to music loud and when I go to the gym. I've herd brain tumors can cause ringing in your ears but I don't have blurry vision or vomiting so that cant be it. I'm just really hoping my anxiety is heighting it and it's from me using headphones / ipod buds and listening to music too loud causing it. Also can me being so focused on trying to listen to the ringing it will heighten it?
