anxiety

Avatar m tn Try a homeopathic remedy called nux vomica. Won't interfere with your meds. You can also use aloe vera juice for the stomach ache.
Avatar n tn exercise is one of the main endorphin producers we can do without taking any supps...tyrosine is a great amino for this purpose/not to be taken with anxiety tho as u do feel the nrg at the dose recommended in the thomas recipe/check the health pages/great article on the receptor sites and dopamine we do build extra receptor sites when we bombard our brain with pills///the brain is not equiped to handle the overload ..
Avatar n tn Is it safe to take the following (herbs?) for temporary relief from dy skanesia (Parkinsons_) stramonium (6C??) Mag. Phos. (6C??) AGARAICUS 96C) TARENTULA iT IS CALLED HOMEOPATHIC FORMULA (TREMOR .CONTAINS NO GLUTENS, ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS OR PRESERVATIVES. i BOU GHT T HE BOTTLE OF 125 FOR $37.00 AND WHEN I RECEIVED IT, I WAS AFRAID TO USE IT. THANK YOU.
Avatar m tn This is a homeopathic formula containing several commonly used homeopathic remedies. It is used for back pain caused by bad discs and such. This is not typically how homeopathy is used to cure, rather this is a symptomatic relief. Cures would usually be one constitutional remedy, applied through trial and error, in much higher dilutions than the ones used in formulas. This might give you some relief, it might not -- homeopathy is very hit and miss.
4281488 tn?1353905580 I struggle with anxiety and depression as well and live in the pacific northwest, where sunshine is rare this time of year so i guess this was created for people who suffer from seasonal related depression but works for all. anyway, i'm considering trying it because like you, i dont want to take medicine while i'm pregnant!!
Avatar m tn I went to a Psychiatrist as well but he said It seemed like I had mild depression and anxiety and maybe the drugs just threw overboard what was already going to happen but other than that I was normal. I don't take medication because I read the side effects and they seem just as bad or worse than the actual illness. Do the symptoms relate to anxiety or something else. Any suggestion will help.
Avatar n tn Are there any homeopathic remedies that offer relief for this disease? Has the onset been connected to any activities, foods, exposure or pre-exixting condition in the patient? Have there been any successful treatments found outside of steroids? This discussion is related to Orbital Pseudo Tumor or another problem.
Avatar m tn Hi everyone.....what is best herbal medicine for anxiety....please only advise if you have used it....
Avatar f tn Crossing my fingers that ANYONE that has had relief and has my, well basically, 2 symptoms out of the ones discussed here.* It all started about a month ago waking up with a crusty circle on my left shoulder. A week or two after that the skin on the edge of my left ear got dry. Within a few days of that it became a growing scab that nothing I have tried is healing, that includes homeopathic methods as well as traditional. I have since found the fluid coming from my left ear canal.
3755490 tn?1349297255 Sounds like good case of ole anxiety. Have you been to your doctor? There are some homeopathic remedies like valerian root or Rescue Remedy products that do well with anxiety. Not a valium but can ease the anxiety greatly. There is always yoga and deep breathing exercises that are very beneficial. Your post said you were coming back to work. I hope your work is not creating too much stress. What type of work do you do? Good luck to you and God be with you!
1076391 tn?1258412241 Well exercise and maintaining a normal weight through a proper diet would be helpful for anyone. Anxiety disorder in particular can be helped through exercise which can relieve physical and mental stress which is often a part of anxiety disorder. As for homeopathic medications, you'd have to detail which medication you are on. Some treatments outside of conventional medicine have been shown to be helpful. Some have not.
Avatar f tn I just linked this in another post but I think it is a really great explanation of mental blocks and anxiety as it relates to erections and talks about how it can cause the problem you describe. Even if your story is different than the OP, the advice given by a PhD doctor is excellent. https://www.medhelp.org/posts/Erectile-Dysfunction/Cant-beat-the-mental-barrier-and-maintain-erection/show/1024174 Let me know what you think.
Avatar n tn I can relate to this problem. I suffered from a severe bout of dizziness about 4 years ago. Vestibular rehab did not work. It was terrible for a month. Then I recovered slowly. But I have not felt right since ten. I suffer from dizzinness every now and then. There are moments when I feel perfectly fine - then it comes again - causing anxiety. I find reading and concentrating very hard. Homeopathic tabs "Vertigoheel" seem to provide some relief. Smell of mint oil also eases it a bit.
Avatar m tn d be amazed what anxiety can do... on the top right, click on HEALTH PAGES tab. Then click on the anxiety symptoms link. I think you will be enlightened. Do you eventually fall asleep? If this becomes a problem, and it effects you everynight... I'd recommend seeing a Dr.... or a therapist. There are plenty of things you can do to calm those thoughts. Also, try crawling into bed at night... and instead of turning on the tv... lay there and do an easy crossword puzzle til you fall asleep...
Avatar m tn Hi, for the last 8 months I've been suffering from the following symptoms: brain fog, fatigue, blurry vision, depressed mood, and muscle tension/weakness. I don't feel that classic anxiety symptom of the knotty feeling in my stomach or the constant sense of worry. Really I'm just baffled by the fog and that perpetuates my stress. I can't concentrate or focus at all. My life is full of work and all, but I don't consider it particularly stressful.
Avatar m tn I definitely would recommend going the homeopathic route vs the traditional meds given for anxiety. Alot of them do have side effects that can cause more problems. All the best.
Avatar f tn Hi Im a 25 year old who started having anxiety attacks in May of this year. There was a lot going on for me, buying a home, finding out my husband was getting deployed to Afghanistan and lots of stress with work and so forth. When I first started having anxiety attacks they were really bad because I didnt know what was going on and I felt like I was dying. It would get so bad that I would go numb in my arms and legs sometimes my face.
Avatar f tn Wondering..... Does anyone know if it is okay to take homeopathic OTC drugs while taking Armour? I am not talking about homeopathic to aide in Thyroid function, but for other reasons, like anxiety, cough, headache or whatever the problem may be at the the time. I just bought some "nerve tonic" for my PMS. Are there any herbs or homeopathic remedies I need to stay away from while on Armour Thyroid?
341903 tn?1225388712 Anxiety in and of itself is quite painless. What anxiety can cause OUR MINDS to make our bodies feel is another story. We can not tell you what meds you should take or even if you should take any. You need to see your doctor about the pain you are having and let him/her rule out a physical cause for it. Then you can discuss dealing with the anxiety.
Avatar f tn Hi . I am curious about symptomatic relief (ice chips etc.) for burning tongue, and how to prevent heartattack from tachycardia--until I am feeling better. I am adjusting my own personally developed supplement program--which has kept me healthy for years. I am not a advocate of prescription drugs.
