No, I haven't taken any of these medications before. I have taken several medications over the 30 years that I've had depression and anxiety though. If you have any unusual side effects or side effects that you just can not deal with make sure to tell your Dr.
It's not uncommon for people that have depression and or anxiety to be on more then one medication.
I am sorry that you are having problems finding the right meds? Unfortunately it can really be trial and error before one gets on the right regime as you are finding out. During all of this, have you been having good conversations with your therapist? While Zoloft worked for me, it only started really working when I started making progress during counseling. I know it is so very frustrating, but you are doing the right thing by recognizing it and confronting it.
Just found out i was pregnant today, and have been taking xanax for about a month (.5 to 1mg a night). Question is.. is the baby ok?? I have anxiety really bad I didn't take any today and feel like im going to panic... I took a tylenol pm to see if that helps me sleep. ive looked for information but i haven't been able to find any? Are there any safer drugs for anxiety during pregnancy? Please help!!

I have been on Anxiety medication Ciraplex for almost 6 months as i got under the fear of HIV and had serious obsessive behaviour and was put on Cipralex and Xanax for 6 months, i Stopped taking it after i was tested negative for HIV after 6 months as i want to intoxicate myself from these medications.
A lot of my OCD stemmed from anxiety and racing or jumbled thought. I still have OCD but I have learned to distinguish them as not true or necessary. Do you believe if you keep doing these things you will stay germ free or is it your mind telling you these things are necessary to prevent germs. There is always hope. You are looking for a balance in your thoughts. Learning something different could help. Don't close the door on all options.
You'll have to talk to your doctor about what is okay to keep taking and what is not. I was in the same boat as you when I got pregnant and I quit everything cold turkey. I had doctors permission though so I don't suggest it unless you talk to your doctor.

Then after having tachycardia still I started metoprolol 25 mg (which I cut in half) to help with daily anxiety and lower my heart rate. It has definitely lowered my heart rate but I still don't feel right. Still have an uneasy feeling and tightness in my chest. I was also given celexa 20 mg weeks ago but I have been scared to start it. I suppose it and the wellbutrin will go together well since one is an NDRI and one is an SSRI.
i an feeling better now, but since last two days i am having another problem, that is if i start walking i feel if i will fall down, my head and feet looks like free or weighless.. i feel weakness.. and the second problem is the old one i.e heart pounding at night before sleep.. plz help me if anyone had the same problem.. i am taking these tablets: paraxyll/paraxotene 25 mg at morning and prothiaden 75 mg at night before sleep. My psychiatrist is wanting to put me on an SSRI that helps with anxiety and is in class C category. We are trying to wait until I am in my second trimester but my OBGYN wants me try to go without it. So I am going to try to go with out it and only go on it if I can't manage. My OBGYN wants me to try other methods, like going on walks or cleaning. I think they all sound stupid. I quit these medicines to years ago and i still have these symptoms and i think my anxiety has increased because of the side effects of these medicines as these medicines are addictive and quitting them could lead to increase in the problem and if i would have continued with these medicines i would have faced more problems as these medicines used to effect my day to day activities and can cause other problems like short term memory loss,drowsiness etc.

So my doctor gave me a list of meds i can take safely during pregnancy but I moved and misplaced the list. Ive sucked on cough drops and ive taken two tylonal extra strength like an hour and half ago. My fever broke after it started working and I was able to do a little bit of moving around (not much though). Usually when I take a pain reliever/fever reducer the symptoms usually subside for a few hours atleast. But my fever is back and all the aches as well.

My doctor asked me to take Prozac 20 mg to start with and then after few days 1mg of klonopin. Now I am severely affected both by depression and anxiety. Anxiety is too much in the mornings. Night times are some what better. How long will both of them to take effect (Two years back I took, prozac for a year and then stopped it). I would like to know, when will be things are settling down? Should I increase the dosage (after checking with doctor only)?
