Avatar n tn Hi I've been suffering from severe anxiety / panic attacks for 3 years. It's got to the stage where I can't go anywhere new where I know I'm going to have difficulty finding a toilet. It starts of with a stomach upset then I'm physically sick I get severe diahorrea. It's got that bad that I can;t get on a bus or train. I've even had accidents whilst out. I don't know why this has started the only thing I can put it down to is its around this time I had my first son.
Avatar m tn My attacks were happening 3-4 times a week until I discontinued taking Altace (ACE inhibitor) for my blood pressure. I had noticed that my anxiety started a week or so after I started Altace. The attacks disappeared for several years when I stopped taking Altace. Just recently, I have several new prescriptions and the attacks have started up again; two attacks in 2 days, and one trip to the ER.
Avatar n tn What kind of tests did the doctors run? Did they do blood work? Did they give you a cardiogram or an echocardiogram? Did they say anything about a stress test? It can be related to anxiety, but more tests would have to be run in order to rule out the heart. If the tests were completed and everything was normal then it is related to anxiety...it can do that. It is a terrible feeling.
Avatar f tn So I've been having marching band camp but every morning I'll have little burst of anxiety which cause diarrhea and vomiting which cause me to miss camp.
Avatar m tn My symptoms include shortness of breath(just plain feeling like I never have enough air), a weird pulse(either feels extremely hard or weak), 2 panic attacks(one put me in the emergency room and all the tests they did came back negative), stomach pain, diarrhea, weakness/tiredness, tingling type feeling in feet and hands, feeling like theirs a lump of mucus in my throat and probably other things I am forgetting. I have been to a cardiologist and everything was fine with my heart.

Avatar f tn For some it's a one-off thing, for others it starts a process where you start thinking the anxiety is going to start happening regularly. Concern about heart attacks is rife among anxiety sufferers but seldom a real problem. It just feels like it is.
Avatar n tn Hello... I am a 25 y.o. female with a history of panic attacks and general anxiety. I've had panic attacks intermittently since about 18 or so, and have had a fair number of muscle twitches (I always thought of them as tics, but after looking in several medical dictionaries/websites, I think they're more properly called fasciculations). The past six weeks have been tremendously stressful--my husband's best friend died suddenly--and I've had more problems than usual with panic.
Avatar m tn Recently, i have been experiencing more frequent symptoms that i think are being brought on from stress, from what i can only pin point, to be Anxiety Attacks, or Over-stressed, causing these symptoms. They mostly occur while at work, usually around lunch.
3166043 tn?1514263618 I usually get diarrhea from the most random things and i do have IBS but my anxiety is making me fear the worst. Ecoli? Ink poisoning? Tapeworm? Im having the worst panic attacks right now. People don't just randomly get diarrhea. It's not healthy. Something's wrong. Help?
Avatar n tn I've always been a little high-strung.... last year what used to be a little anxiety turned into full-blown panic attacks. There were times when I thought I was having a heart attack or something - it was awful. I just wasn't capable of dealing with various presures in my life and the attacks were the result. My dr prescribed xanax. It helps but I REALLY don't like to take it... I've seen the affects of addiction on others in my life and I've come to hate drugs.

Avatar f tn During that month I suddenly started to have panic attacks and developed a bad social anxiety and OCD type thoughts. My physical anxiety symptoms were tingling in my arms, nausea, shortness of breath and feeling like I was going to faint. I lost my appetite, and I've now lost 6kg of body weight in under a month. I finally got the courage to go to the doctor, but she only said to increase my SSRI medication dosage. I did that, but the anxiety almost became worse. The doctor won't do any tests.

384896 tn?1335297931 But it's been getting REAL bad with what I guess I'll call anxiety attacks, lately. I'm not really sure what's causing them or how to make them quit. I'm constantly stressed out with the fact that I'm raising my daughter by myself when I shouldn't have to raise her by myself when her father has days off from work to HELP ME! And I'm always thinking about and I'm scared of that I'm gunna have to raise our son by myself right along with my daughter.
1049259 tn?1295092078 nausea, diarrhea, and/or metallic taste in the mouth. Mix that with anxiety and a panic attack and you have the situation you have just described . Maybe, and i doubt it, you had an overdose but Metronidazole does not seem to be especially toxic in the case of an overdose. So i don't think it's something to worry about too much especially if the symptoms are gone now. Metronidazole have a strong interaction with alcohol and can also have produced the vomiting.
Avatar f tn I stay secluded to my home but my therapist is trying to help me with these issues. I take xanax for the panic attacks and anxiety. But they do have different meds. I suggest you go to a mental health facility in your area. They can be quite helpful. I wish you well and God Bless!
1348086 tn?1370786785 Generally my anxiety always causes me some sort of stomach distress whether it be nausea, cramps, acid indigestion, or diarrhea...or all of them. But some attacks not only bring on my stomach symptoms but I will get lightheaded, short of breath, shaky, tingling in my hands and/or feet, hot flashes and difficulty concentrating. I usually can expect to have at least some of these symptoms to varying degrees during different panic episodes.
Avatar f tn I stopped drinking cold turkey a little over a week ago, but now I have massive diarrhea, like 20 plus times a day. Its a bright yellow "bubbly" diarrhea, kinda like when you drink a ton of beer and go to restroom the next day. So I was just wondering if this is a normal reaction to alcohol withdraw or if it is some more serious.
Avatar m tn 30 this morning with Diarrhea and sweats and some anxiety. I broke a Xanax into a quarter... I took in quarters but once had to take a half on Saturday . I have a craving but want this out of the body so really not tempted at all... It looks like what a person needs on this is time, and a benzo helps with the time. I kept myself busy and it's much better. Got some ringing in the ears a little this morning but not as severe...
