If you have a UTI, that is a bacterial overgrowth in your urethra/bladder. Sometimes after treating a UTI with antibiotics, it can sometimes overkill the good bacteria and then cause a Yeast infection, and thus later warrant a need for Monistat. But you said you are not yet on antibiotics at all (not sold over the counter in the USA). The Monistat won't help cure a UTI, at all, if that was your intention of using it until you can see a doc about your UTI.

Thanks guys! That makes sense, as I have learned in my search that Mono was produced to cause less GI/Stomach issues. I also read that Mono makes it to the small colon before breaking down, which would explain the double coating and decreased stomach issues. If all of this is true then it would harmonize with my experience, as Mono was MUCH more tolerable.

I taken antibiotics in the past and took me 1 full year to recover from stomach issues and side effects. I don't plan to suffer like that again.

MVP we all still have to have mega doses of antibiotics w. any heart issues because the first place the bacteria runs to is the weak area of our bodies and those w. Antibiotics does not treat Herpes because Herpes is not a bacteria it is a virus. Whatever you have is some sort of bacteria. NOT herpes. This is my opinion of course, but this is the direction I would go.

I just had an endoscopy becuase i was suffering from severe nausea and dizzyness and they found Helicobacter pylori bacteria in my stomach.
