Avatar f tn Is it harmful to the baby if im taking antibiotics for bronchitis? And I am only about 1 month .
551343 tn?1506830518 Bloody hell, I have been taking Erythromycin antibiotics most of my life, for constant ear aches, and gum problems etc and never had a problem with them. So i get a gum abscess see the dentist and he prescribes me Erythromycin. I have taken 3 and got tingly lips, and an itchy rash on my chest. Rang him up and he told me to stop taking them immediately as I have had an allergice reaction to them. I MEAN come on how can I? This is mad innit and I still have the abscess and the pain boo hoo.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know if its ok to take antibiotics with riba? I'm not sure if I should take a dose of each together or should I wait and take the antibiotic (Avelox 400mg) separately. I'd rather take them together because each should be taken with food and I don't have much appetite so when I do manage to eat I'd like to get all the drugs down at once. Any input would be helpful.
Avatar f tn As long as your baby is nursing regularly and u pump when ur away your supply can last as long as u need it to. Some moms breastfeed for 2 or more years. It always helps to read up on things that can effect ur supply.
435139 tn?1255460391 That happens when you have been taking antibiotics because antibiotics kill most of the bacteria in your body (including the good ones) and then fungus or yeast grows on mucus membranes. So that's why many women get vaginal yeast infections after they take antibiotics. I guess that lactating nipples could be considered a mucus membrane? I don't know but it does secrete bodily fluids so it could be possible.
1817813 tn?1317017629 My 78 yr old grandma has itchy, stinging knots on her labia. Swollen and driving her nuts. Worse when she lies down. Used cream from doc, worked but stretched her labia. Found out she's allergic to polyethylene glycol, can't use anything with that in it. Has had antibiotics too. Doc told her to use coconut oil because it has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It's not ingrown hair or allergies to soap etc. Help.....
Avatar n tn Is your mare curtrently nursing? IF so, please contact your vet about this. Otherwise, in my non-nursing or lactating mares inn the past, I have used only water and an antibacterial soap (i.e. Betadine Surgical Scrub) or only just water. I make sure to soak the areas well with warm water on gentle flow (I also do the vulva area and anus), put a bit of the Betadine on a soft wash cloth and wash all areas gently removing all debris, sweat, and gunk. DO NOT CLEAN INSIDE ANY AREA>..
4774515 tn?1359650004 When are you planning on using the nursing cover, just in public? I've found nursing covers to be more trouble than they're worth! I've never used that brand though, so bump!
Avatar m tn This may describe why Sb is so successful when used with other antibiotics. I presume when used on triple therapy with other antibiotics it would be even better. Regardless, I don’t suggest anyone to try all sorts of antibiotics now with Sb because it doesn’t heal PATM permanently and will only cause resistance to those antibiotics. However, if anyone has used some of them before I would like to know what you’ve observed.
Avatar m tn As case in point, use of expired antibiotics may result in you developing an anti-biotic resistant infection due to the degradation of effectiveness.
Avatar f tn The hard part was getting my son to drink out of a bottle since he was so used to nursing. It was a hard week but I just kept offering the bottle and finally he took it. I found that he liked the wide based nipples and would not take any others.
Avatar n tn My kitten was used as a "chew toy" by another dog a little over a week ago....the kitten is blind and was rolled onto his back by the dog and then his upper torso/chest area was pretty much mauled. There is exposed muscle from the chest down to the abdomen, with a large flap of skin remaining on the chest that is connected on two sides. He has been to the vet twice....given oral antibiotics and antibiotic injections x 2.
666921 tn?1254990618 It could be the sensory overload issue that people with these kind of issues get. At my worst there was something about the fluorescent lights in the grocery store that would affect me. As soon as I walked in my legs would feel weak. The car issue could be motion sickness. People with lyme are more prone to it. It's on the symptom list.
Avatar f tn Hi I looked this up, it used to be called Macrobid. It is just for bladder infections so that is good. If your doctor knows about your liver, I think this would be safe. I am not a doctor but I also have compensated cirrhosis and always worry about antibiotics. I learned that penicillin or penicillin family is the safest. In your case, it sounds like it is worth it to use it. Good luck!
Avatar n tn A mild soap or soap substitute, such as Dove or Cetaphil should be used for washing. Scrubbing should be avoided. The antibiotics that you are taking can be taken and they wont worsen your condition.Consult your doctor for prescribing you a less potent steroid cream as steroid creams can cause redness and peeling of the skin. I hope that helps.Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Avatar f tn My first one burst when I used an ice pack, I was givun antibiotics earlyish in my pregnancy hut it dud nothing!
10007886 tn?1413287174 Never used one and I breastfed my son for his first year. I used the sports bras that have the spaghetti straps and my regular bras. They r to expensive and I couldn't afford one with my first but even tho I can now I still ain't getting one.
Avatar f tn And I am sure they will get bigger when they are full of milk. I never had used the nursing tanks with my last two. So thanks I will try that they look comfortable!
Avatar f tn I did a lot of research and asked other moms if they preferred the nursing tank tops or the bras and everyone said tank tops. I ordered mine off target.com. it will tell you how to size yourself as well.
Avatar f tn m Planning On Breast Feeding, I want to get the cotton nursing pads, the ones I can wash incase of leaking, I was wandering which ones were most comfortable for you Mommies?
9330903 tn?1403362548 m bigger than you. Honestly, I used them the first couple of weeks but because they were heavy I needed more support and swapped back to regular bras. Just lifting them from the bottom when it was time to feed.
Avatar f tn m not sure which nursing disposable pad is good quality. Which one will you ladies recommend me to get? Thank you. I appreciate it.
Avatar f tn There are excellent washable cloth ones, Bamboobies are probably the most popular, that pay for themselves in no time without creating all that waste. I used cotton pads while nursing my first, I got two 6-packs of them at Motherhood and I think they were Gerber brand but not sure. They worked just fine and any time I ran out (which was rare) all I had to do was run some laundry instead of running to the store.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal. Im just worried about taking a new medication,, afraid it may cause the palpitations to be worse, better yet cause a dangerous arrythmia!! Any advice would be great!!
Avatar n tn Is she nursing puppies at the moment? If so this could be a blocked milk duct plus it sounds like some kind of infection going on in there, maybe even an abscess. I think she needs to see a vet urgently in that case. Apart from the pain and discomfort, this could seriously affect the puppies. If she's not nursing right now, then it could be a breast cyst. And the best thing for that is a needle-biopsy, to see what this lump is..
Avatar n tn Can anyone tell me why doxycylene should not be given to pregnant or nursing cats/ I have a pregnant kitty who has developed a bad resperitory infection. She really needs an antibiotic now, I thought doxycyclene was about the safest and most effective med to clear up this particular infection (rhino). Could someone help me here????
