I was just wondering if anyone else is getting really big boils and if there's anything I can do?! I'm 12 wks. And I have them on my face, Ear, under breast, in between legs and it's very painful I need help!
Thanks a bunch. I did what you said and got antibiotics and used mild soaps and used warm compresses and the boils went away. However, littler ones formed around the same area. I'll try what you said again and keep you updated.

a while ago I had a couple of boils on my face, I went to the doctor and they just put me on antibiotics, saying they weren't completely sure what it was. Then after that the boils kept returned and I did some research on the internet and was pretty with it was a staph infection, then I got tested by the doctors and while they were kinda vague, was apparently a staph infection in my nose.
That was almost a year ago, though I've had several minor boils since then.
Since my late 20's, I have seen a variety of dermatologists for painful boil-like eruptions on my butt, that are 1-3 CM in diameter. I am now 39, and they seem to be getting worse! I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. I am currently using a benzoil wash, and in the past have used such topicals as tretinoin (some success), clindomycin, evoclin, desonide, and oral antibiotics; minocyline and now solydyn.
Boils may be due to poor personal hygiene or minor trauma to the skin allowing bacteria to invade, use of antiperspirant deodorants, use of strong drugs which may hamper the immunity or a diabetic patient. Warm compresses may help, antibiotics are used sometimes, good hygiene, no picking or compressing and zinc supplements may help. You can use topical antibiotics like Bactroban.

They have developed other antibiotics to treat it. However, they are stronger antibiotics and can be harder to take. Staph in general (MRSA or not) causes boils, impetigo, furuncles and mostly other skin and wound problems. Sometimes eye infections and other issues. Sometimes with impetigo you can get a mixture of staph and strep in the wound and you get a crusty sore which is easily spread. It also can produce blisters at first then become crusty. What does your infection look like?
hey ive been haveing boils all the time as soon as get rid of one another shows and i keep hands and face clean right now i got to one in the tip of my nose and can't get to it and one under my chin and do not have no money or medicade i dont really care for them that much but they hurt and i try to work on them i read some where if there not properly treat it could be fetal and please help there a pain in the neck thanks

Treatment is by topical antibiotics and steroids. Local antibiotics of erythromycin and Clindamycin group also help. Retenoid group of drugs also help. Get his diabetes & thyroid status checked as high blood sugar can also cause recurrent boils. Possibility of a connective tissue disorder too should be looked into. Consult a skin specialist. So I have boils on my vagina and i've been to the doctor about it and i'm on antibiotics to help treat them and they have popped but when i go to the bathroom to pass urine, it really stings and is extremely painful and uncomfortable. Is there anything i can put on the boils to help this? Like help protect them so it doesn't hurt as much? I heard putting Vaseline on them could help?
I have done std test and all is negative.i took some strong antibiotics but the boils and itching keeps increasing after I have stopped masturbating for like 2 weeks.
I would have no problems, but about a year ago i think i accidentally used a dirty razor to shave my private area and in the folds between my legs and crotch.
I got an infection down inbetween the folds between my crotch and leg. (private area did not)
I play sports every week and i can tell the sweat irritates the area somewhat. I try to shower often and have even been putting hot compreses on the area at times, but with only temporary visual/pain results.
My butt is covered in pimples and a few boils now and then that wont seem to go away.. they have taken over my whole crack.. it is so embarrassing that I am obviously to shy to find a man.. please help.. I have no idea to rid this forever!!!!!! Also when I shave my vag I get mass red bumps everywhere that eventually turn into lil puss bumps where each hair folicule is... please help me...
