I had a positive HPT about 4 hours and Im a little nervous because I had Xrays a week ago and have been on antibiotics and steroids for Bronchitis. I wasn't pregnancy tested at the hospital because I didn't realize I was a few days late on my period so I didn't think to say anything. should I be worried about my babies safety this early in my pregnancy? Im only about 5 weeks.

You can sleep on right side as well . You can try doing it now though to get used to it . Later on in pregnancy if you wake up on your back just roll over baby is ok . He or she will most likely make you uncomfortable before anything bad happens your body will signal a response to you most likely . I had thos worry and sometimes I still wake up on my back just get used it your side sleeping now while its still comfortable for you .

its not harder per say but u will need antibiotics right away for your babies safety. at least four hoirs before birth if you don't get it. It can be life or death for your child. I tested positive and I was very scared but what eases my mind is that i started to take probiotics. Which help replenish good bacteria and many women who have had gbs in the past pregnancies have taken them and tested negative in their most recent pregnancies.

I can't say for sure because there are different types of antibiotics and different dosages, etc. But I can tell you that in my last pregnancy I needed to take antibiotics for a tooth problem and it didn't seem to effect that pregnancy. My son just turned 1 yr and seems prefect to me. ;-) I was really worried about it too but I didn't really have a choice. I needed the meds. Thankfully everything turned out well.
