Common Questions and Answers about Antibiotics names canada

antibiotics

Avatar f tn I am sending you an inbox message as I have the name of a couple highly recommended doctors in Calgary who treat LD. They are NPs but able to prescribe antibiotics and herbals. My understanding is that we're not supposed to mention doctor's names on this forum. Perhaps someone else can clarify this. I'm in Canada also and know of at least one person in Calgary using the doctor's I'm going to recommend to you.

Avatar f tn Does anyone have any names of docs in Canada who deal with AD. We were vacationing in Australia, both got bit by jellyfish. I had AD for 3 months and it went away. He still has it after 2 years. He was healthy, young 35 yr old with no health issues. It's crazy, I could make a movie out of our experience. Any help is appreciated.
1067297 tn?1255030564 Flagyl and biaxin worked well for my.. doxy, not so much. Plaquenil & Z-Pak is a newer protocol docs are using (well at least up here in canada, everyone knows how ignorant the canadian health care system is towrd lyme).. good luck!

964860 tn?1264888861 I really like them both! But more comfortable with Xavier then using Zavier as a nickname (just because this was the case with a childhood friend of mine!).. :D Kingston is such a great strong boys name.. (and a great city in Ontario, Canada). Great choices & good luck!
Avatar f tn Yet reading this news story, farmers can march down to their local feed store and buy antibiotics for their livestock without a prescription, in Canada but not sure if same in US! Unbelievable, but perhaps coming to an end.
Avatar f tn we do like to remind you that the names being on here do not indicate they are true Chiari specialists OR does it indicate an endorsement of the Drs. Please research Drs and educate yourself here on the forum. Below is a link to several older threads on Drs from Canada: https://www.medhelp.org/search?
Avatar f tn Hoping this will bring changes to Canadians with Lyme Disease who struggle to get proper diagnosis and treatment in Canada. Our testing system (2-tiered Elisa then Western Blot) is flawed and many Canadians end up going to the U.S testing labs and LLMDs. http://elizabethmaymp.
Avatar f tn Are there any in bc Canada? Had decompression, follow up wasn't the greatest, no X-ray, no MRI or ct to view. Having issues maybe I have a leak?
Avatar m tn How come FDA is not allowing the safe to use Mesalazine Enema, which has been used for years in Europe and Canada? I am not certain how I can spread the word so that all UC patients who are suffering can get benefited. Please spread the word and let CCFA know that this drug needs to be made available in US. I have to buy it from UK or Canada at my own expenses. This is outrageous when I am paying so much for insurance. Please advise.
Avatar f tn My dog came down with signs of fever and lethargy about a week ago. We took her to the vet and went through the suggested series of tests to diagnose the underlying cause, but all of her tests have come back negative. I'm desperate to figure out what is making her sick! A little recent history: She had a tick on her neck late this past summer, but the tick itself was tested for Lyme and came back negative.
Avatar f tn I will be having a baby shower sometime in Feb. I have a 1 yr old and my husband and I have been so blessed by family that we really do not need anything. Hus family is pretty well off and the shower for my son got us thousands of dollars worth of stuff, we have everything. This time around for this shower I don't want gifts so I was thinking of asking everyone to donate the money they would spend on a gift to charity instead and just come celebrate with us.
Avatar m tn The two Canadian cases were treated with a combination of antibiotics, said Dr. Johann Pitout of the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. One case was in Alberta, the other in British Columbia. Both patients had medical emergencies while traveling in India. They developed urinary infections that were discovered to have the resistance gene once they returned home to Canada, Pitout said.

586140 tn?1219078962 Gerald Evans, president of the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada, says overuse of antibiotics can lead to such complications as the bowel disease Clostridium difficile and can give rise to drug-resistant bacterial strains. Furthermore, Evans says, the advent of advocacy groups on the internet has turned Lyme into the diagnosis of choice for many people.
