Ok about a week ago I had a sinus infection. For two days i took some Keflex twice a day that I had left over. It wasnt helping , I found a bottle of cipro I had left over and I took one. Thats it. A few days ago my boyfriend starts having symptoms of chlamydia or gonnerea ureathra hurting, discharge etc. I have no symptoms. We have only slept together once in the last couple weeks. Anyways, I went and got tested and I have bacterial vaginosis. I have not been with anybody but him.
ve been having chills and just feeling blah, my main questions are is Keflex a good second choice antibiotic to clear up epididymitis i have an apointment with a urologist to basically ask the same questions and further investigation and my second question would be should i go ahead and take the keflex or wait for the urologists opinion since the doc that prescribed keflex was a general practicioner and not a specialist, your input would be much appreciated.

hi since may of this year, i have been on the following, keflex twice(70 pills total), cipro twice (40 pills total), azthromycin twice (8 pills total), doxycycline (40 pills total), bactrim(30 pills) and 3 rocephin shots). would that be why for the past few months i have had yeast/fungal issues, they come and go in my groin and under stomach and arm area, and little yeast bumps on body?
I am allergic to so many antibiotics. I now have a serious sinus infection and my doctor cannot find an antibiotic to treat the infection that does not cause either hives or diarrhea. I need help. Below are the antibiotics that I cannot take but can I take???

I think that the same thing may have happened to me. Though I finished my antibiotics (keflex) in the end of august and and been pretty sick ever since. When i fist got sick i was violently ill, couldn't eat or drink for weeks, and had to go to the ER. Now I just have constant stomach discomfort and occasionally diarrhea.

I'm back in the hosp for a UTI which was giving me contractions...luckily the injections stopped the contractions but now i'm stuck in here on IV antibiotics for who knows how long!
I started feeling very dizzy after taking 500 mg Keflex four times a day for six days to treat a skin infection. I developed the low grade fever on the seventh day. I haven't felt as dizzy since I've been off the Keflex but the fever still makes me slightly tired.
Is this something I should be worried about?
I have a pending root canal but am both worried about the dental infection hurting baby or the antibiotics... the doctors have said the antibiotics I have are perfectly fine for pregnancy but I would feel better to hear all went well by someone else :)

antibiotics called Keflex It took 6 days for it to clear and I followed up with a round of keflex in pill form. that only lasted a few days then I went back to th Dr. and got a round of Bactrim that was pretty good and after it was done it stayed clear for about 2 weeks next I took keflex and Doxacyclin at the same time for ten days instead of 7 it stayed clear for about 1 week. So antibiotics cant cure this it seams.
I had an abscess on my gums. I started on keflex and scheduled a root canal ASAP. After the root canal and finishing the keflex the abscess was still there. My endontist downplayed it like it's no big deal but he drained the abcess and put me on clymdamycin. Finished all the clymdamycin and the abscess is still there. Endontist says it could take months to heal and sent me on my way. I feel like I need a second opinion. I still have a pea sized abscess on my gums idk what to do.

My bf was diagnosed with ngu and I want to know is taking one of the following ok for treatment .....bactrim ,keflex, or amoxicillin? The reason for this question is he won't be able to make it to the doctors for the z pack this week but he has these antibiotics available. And if so what would his dosage length of treatment be ?
Are you still on the keflex? First, that does NOTHING for a cold. A cold is a virus, and an antibiotic kills bacteria. Second, you need to wait 2 weeks following your last pill to test, as antibiotics can give you false negatives on the tests.
I'd follow up with your doctor sooner, though. You might be having a reaction to the keflex.

I waited two weeks and still had an itching feeling and needed to pee alot. I went to my general practioner. He prescribed me 500mg keflex 4 times a day for 7 days. Two days of tinadazole and told me after completing these doses to take flucanazole for two days.
After taking the meds my symptoms were relieved practically the next day. Though sometimes I still get a subtle symptom recurring. I complete my last keflex pill tomorrow.
I am 8W pregnant and i had UTI (taking type B antibiotics). now my problem is whenever i pee sometimes i have white stuff coming out with the pee. sometime it is reddish color. what is it? Do i need to worry about this?
