Try putting it in applesauce or yogurt and swallowing it that way. Or you can even crush the pill then put in the applesauce or yogurt. My cousin is 30 years old and she only takes her pills in applesauce ;-)

Actually yeast is not good when baby is going to pass through the birth canal... but you are still early. If they are putting you on antibiotics take probiotics with them & eat plain greek yogurt. Every time I have ever had to take antibiotics I eat tons of greek yogurt & take probiotics & it keeps me from getting yeast infections.
I also squirt greek yogurt up inside & yeast goes away...
While my old one was on antibiotics we were giving them soy yogurt and discovered she took her pills no problem when hidden in the yogurt. Recently though I was told soy is bad for dogs. I havE them plain soy yogurt because its lack of dairy and sugar. They didn't seem to have any problems with it, is it safe to give my pups?
I wonder if your doc told you not to take the yogurt at the same time as the minocycline. The calcium in the yogurt interferes with the antibiotics ability to "do the job." check out the Road Back Foundation website for more info.
I have taken quite a bit of different antibiotics back in May. I have stopped taking it a about 3 weeks ago, maybe longer and noticed that I have a hard time gaining weight now. I have had bad anxiety and depression as well recently which may have caused my appetite to go down drastically but when it comes back I start to eat a lot and it doesn't seem like I can gain weight like I used too.
Taking yogurt simultaneously with many other antibiotics will result in a sub-therapeutic level of drug in the bloodstream, causing spread of the infection, with the possibility of death. Two classes of antibiotics that should never be taken with yogurt are the tetracyclines and the quinalones (Cipro being such an example). (Ref: Drugs, 1976 11(1):44-45). The bio-availability of these medications is significantly destroyed. (Clin. Pharmacol. Ther. Nov50: 498-502).
I had h pylori twice, and the antibiotics really destroyed me. I am now taking Prevacid in very high doses. Before you try to eliminate this h pylori again read about if you really need to. Also, I think that urea test was done way too soon after the first time!

You should be following a GERD diet which can help lower the amount of acid produced by the stomach and give the antibiotics and assist. H. pylori loves acid, and makes every effort to make your stomach produce more. If you can reduce the amount of acid your stomach is putting out it could help you in the long run because most with H.
ve always used watered down hydrogenperoxcide to get rid of bv. I soaked a tampon wrapped in thread so it didnt get too big in it and left it in for say 20 mins. Then later on that day I put PLAIN yogurt on a tampon and put it up there and kept that in for 20 mins. The yogurt will help prevent a yeast infection since you just killed most everything with the peroxcide. Yogurt also will help get rid of a yeast infection. This doesn't work for everyone but has worked for me.
so for abt 3 weeks of havering a yeast infection and I'm so over it , my doctor gave me a week of antibiotics and it doesn't seem to be working. Just now I was in my bathroom head over the toilet and butt over the tub ( I pee when I puke) I cleaned my va jay jay and noticed I had ALOT of discharge on the towel then as I began to clean the tub I notice white stuff took a closer look and it was more discharge , is this even normal???

I am being treated for a urinary infections with both antibiotics (Cipro) and antivirals (valtrex) because the cause is unknown.
My question is, is it safe to mix both medicines?
They are renowned for causing GI upset. Unfortunately in the case of a UTI stronger broad spectrum antibiotics are usually needed since the bacteria that causes them can be a bit more resistant.

Like 2 servings a day. Anytime you take antibiotics for a BV you should always eat yogurt to keep healthy bacteria in your system since antibiotics kill the good as well. Also, probiotics.
You would have to eat about half a gallon of plain yogurt everyday to get enough probiotic in your system. So, while yogurt is good, it is insufficient anyway. So, I would go easy on the stomach and not use yogurt 'til you start feeling better. But, don't use the ones with the sugary fruits, because that's too much sugar for your body right now. You don't want to aggravate Leaky Gut if you already have it, and you don't want to get it if you don't already have it.
the only antibiotics i take is 800mg IBuprofen 500mg Amoxicillin and 500mg Hydrocodone. and there for my tooth because I had an Root Canel done.... well this yeast infection stop me from having a period?? and When I do have my period well it fush it out for me?? the itching is only by my clitoris...... Could my husband get this yeast infection?
