Avatar n tn m 24 now and my female is 17 years old and my male is 14 years old. In my experience iguanas will burrow (mostly in warm places but not all the time). One of females used to climb and hide in the Christmas tree, my female now likes to burrow in stuffed animals. Every iguana is different and I would look in places that are warm too (like behind the fridge. Of course this was posted way long ago so I do hope you've found him by now!
618585 tn?1236714644 In the meantime I would take special care in spending more time with him and making sure he feels comfortable in his home. My male is not 14 years old and his irritation stopped when he was about 10. If his anger is persistent, take him to the vet or call your vet.
Avatar f tn A decade ago, Wong was sentenced to almost six years in prison in the U.S. for running an animal-smuggling ring that prosecutors said imported and sold more than 300 protected reptiles native to Asia and Africa from 1996 until Wong's arrest in Mexico in 1998. It is unclear whether he served the full term. Activists say the illegal wildlife trade used to flourish in Malaysia until the country recently stepped up efforts to crack down on it.
518733 tn?1333017015 Kflex is safe- two antibiotics to AVOID in pregnancy would be- deoxycycline (spell?) or tetracycline, which are known to have risks. Otherwise- if the dr prescribing the antibiotics isn't your OB be sure to let your OB know that you were prescribed a new medication, they may have their own preference of what you should and should not take- and always ask the pharmacist if you are unsure about any medication..
969557 tn?1314370614 Just now I started to feel a bit bad (distant feeling, dizziness, tingling in arms, legs and face, and burning feeling in my throat and chest), so I read through the sx-section. Found "liverchance" and "passing changes in blood "there, so now I'm getting nervous. Can't reach my dr. now so I am turning to you guys. What do you think?? Haven't had any bloodtests since 13 days post EOT btw.
Avatar f tn I don't think they have antibiotics in liquid form only supplement and vitamins. I believe if it is a fluid they have to give it thru an I'V.

317787 tn?1473358451 For patients with a pre-existing liver disorder, the detoxification function of the liver is already compromised and substances that would normally be metabolized could actually accumulate in the liver or in the bloodstream. Antibiotics that accumulate in this manner could become toxic to the body and its functions can change drastically from its original purpose. The following is a list of the most common antibiotics groups being used today.

Avatar f tn Thank You Nan. Really don't know if he is a hepatologist, The practice is Digestive Health Specialist. He is suppose to be a liver specialist. Really much of the delay in any kind of treatment is because I was still drinking beer. Went in to the hospital the first of November and am now alcohol free. Never have been a heavy drinker, no liquor but would drink a 6 pack every night. Did not go through withdraws but have quit all alcohol and am not even missing it..
Avatar f tn I'm on Norpace XR (anti-arrythmic) for Afib and I'm not supposed to take any of the antibiotics ending in "mycin" or Biaxin. Another post on this board said they landed in ICU after doing just that. It can cause a fatal heart rhythm. Another recent post suggested that one should double check with the doctor and/or pharmacist because there is some data that says some antibiotics are more likely to cause trouble than others.
Avatar f tn ) Thanks for the read through!
Avatar f tn People also are very commonly allergic to certain antibiotics. Antibiotics also kill off the beneficial organisms in our intestinal tract that are a very large part of our mental health system. It's probably the antibiotics.
Avatar n tn Hi. I have a 16 year old son who was diagnosed with Lymes the end of January 09. I'm not really sure of levels, but his antibodies were 2.32 and he had 5 bars on the western block show a positve reaction. The doctor said he must have been bitten a while ago and was left untreated. (Untreated because we had no idea he was even bit and original symptoms were not that bad.) He was put on 100mg of Doxy for 30 days. Four weeks later he was put on 200mg of Doxy.
Avatar f tn Even if you are cured after this course of antibiotics, be aware that in some (rare) cases, Lyme can appear to be cured only to reappear later on. So if your symptoms ever return, be aware of that possibility. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Is it harmful to the baby if im taking antibiotics for bronchitis? And I am only about 1 month .
Avatar f tn t say for sure because there are different types of antibiotics and different dosages, etc. But I can tell you that in my last pregnancy I needed to take antibiotics for a tooth problem and it didn't seem to effect that pregnancy. My son just turned 1 yr and seems prefect to me. ;-) I was really worried about it too but I didn't really have a choice. I needed the meds. Thankfully everything turned out well.
1472764 tn?1287588186 I've finally broken down and taken the antibiotics. Temp was 100.2 today. 10 days of azythromyocin. 1 pill a day. Dr. said its safe for pregnancy. I'm also taking probiotics to counteract yeast. Has anyone else been in this situation? Was your pregnancy and baby okay? I'm so worried.
3148906 tn?1343695795 Thank you Smiley2000 I had the tooth pulled but the oral surgeon did not pack it with antibiotics so now food is in the extraction site and my gum have swollen. Now I have to go back and they will flush it out then pack it. Let's see what happens next.
Avatar f tn My anxiety is way too high to start taking these antibiotics! "Not recommended for pregnant women unless benefits outweigh the risks" is not good enough for me! The doctor asked if I was on birth control when I went in (ER) -.- , im 28 weeks & seriously do not want anything risking my babies health :( the pills are Apo-Cephalex 500mg. My ingrown toenail keeps getting worse as Im unable to clean it on a regular basis or let it breathe at all.
Avatar f tn I went to the emergency dentist yesterday morning BC I was up allll night before with a horrible toothache. Well I guess I have a slight infection in my wisdom tooth and it needs to be extracted asap but he wanted me to take the med first for a few days. Its on my sheet of same meds from my doctor and both dentist and pharmacist said it was fine but I'm so Leary! I guess infection is more harmful. I've never taken it before and intact, having taking any medication since I was about 15..
Avatar f tn Has anyone bn in antibiotics during pregnancy? If so how far along were you? Had anyone taken azithromax 250??
