I looked up hot spots,and I think it is hot spots,But I never seen them like that before,what is a good solution to help him?

Last week she developed a hot spot on her cheek. I shaved the area, cleaned and disinfected, and treated with apple cider vinegar to dry it out. It has stopped oozing, and has scabbed over, and appears to be healing fine. Here's the Q: Does the same bacteria from the ear infections cause this? Do you think they are related? Oddly enough, the hot spot appeared under the cleaner of her two ears. Thanks!

I actually didn't know we aren't supposed to eat hot dogs o.o I cooked them according to the instructions on the package though, so maybe I was doing fine. Kprince, pizza has been fine for me. I'm 2 days overdue and through most of my pregnancy I've used cheese pizza as a tummy settler. Red Baron though, not restaurant made. I also take Zantac 150 twice a day, so if you're not on tummy medicine it might unsettle you.

You can eat them as long as they're fully cooked. But yeah hot dogs aren't healthy for you but neither is a lot of junk we eat. As long as it's cooked it's safe.

But too hot for dogs to charge around in the midday sun! And by 8 at night it was beautiful, so we did most of our running then. It's the best thing for dogs, especially long haired dogs, to stay cool in the day, even if it gets boring, and go out in the early mornings or the evening. They do hate it though, don't they? How do you tell an active healthy dog "Wait till 8 tonight" when it's only 11am!?

The next day, 8 pimple like bumps appeared on his inner thighs and seemed very itchy. We went back to the vet who gave us some antibiotics and oral steriods to give him. Hello thank you for the suggestions on eliminating the hot spot problem, I will definitely try the changes to see if that will do the trick. The hot spot is actually a new issue, this is the first time she has had one and it started 4-5 days ago. I read several posts that said 5 drops of Brandy nightly will eliminate the hot spots within a few days, so I'm going to ask my vet what she thinks about this, too.

This may sound funny but if the area is red and inflammed he could have a "hot spot" from a flea bite or grass allergy. I have used Dr. Tichner's antiseptic mouthwash on my dogs hot spots for years. I just saturate a cottonball with Dr. T's and rub it on the red area. It takes care of the itch and soothes the inflammation. It is an old remedy but it has never failed me. Good luck.
